Using molds spanning from as far back as late-G1, the Universe toyline consisted entirely of redecoes and occasional retools. The line allowed fans access to molds which they may have missed in their initial release and also played to fans' interests by featuring frequent homages and new or alternate-universe incarnations of old characters.
