- Undermine is a Decepticon from Jungle Planet in the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Undermine is one of Scourge's enforcers, keeping the Jungle Planet populace pacified, which has put him on his own brother Repugnus' enemy list. He serves as a silent spy and assassin for Scourge, hunting down dissidents, learning their secrets, then usually closing in for the kill. He is said to be one of the greatest hunters in the galixy.
At some point before scourge's rule over Jungle Planet Undermine was attacked by the raiders, so he came to find Scourge for help. It was undemine's plea for help that spured Scourge into destroing the raiders and ruling over Jungle Planet "fairly." Undermine was at Scourge's side for the whole campaighn. At somepoint durin this campaighn Undermine gained enimity from his brother, Repugnus. It is posible that Repugnus was responcible for the attack on Undermine. After this, Scourge began his dictatorship and aquired a new body guard, Shrapnel. Irate with jealousy that he didn't become scourge's right hand man, Undermine forged a tape recording of Shrapnel saying that Scourge was a "smoke ring blowing siccy." Needless to say shrapnel was fired and Unermine took his rightful place at his master's side.
in the Cybertron cartoon Undermine is first seen guarding the Jungle Temple with Snarl from Megatron and Starscream. He was quite ready to do battle with Megatron, dispite his comparitivley small size. He is then seen at Scourge's side for the rest of the siries until scourge leaves Jungle Planet. Durin this time he is shown fighting Backstop, Snarl and the other Autobots that dare threaten his leader. Unfortunatley, the fights are always interupted by somthing, never giving undermine the chance to finish off his prey or visa versa. After Scourge's defeat at the hands of Optimus prime, Undermine is seen training (and being pwnd by) scourge, trying to teach him to defeat Prime next time.
The next time Unermine apears is durin the final battle between most of the galixy and Galvatrons enormous Decepticons. He and his partner, Brimstone, attack an oversized Thunderblast and unermine proply calls her a cow. he is not seen again for the rest of the series, but it is implied that he returned with Scourge to jungle planet.
When he's not out beating up people, he's playing Praxis Fold 'Em with Brimstone to determine who does the chores assigned to them around the Jungle Temple.
When in robot mode, his speech is smooth and sophisticated, sounding not too unlike an Earth British accent, in stark contrast to his beast mode's growling timbre.

undermine is mainly is seen with Brimstone with both by Scourge's side. Most of the time he is getting his ass kicked all over the jungle planet. So much for the "hunter of the universe" title.

- Undermine transforms into a robotic spinosaur. Plugging a Cyber Planet Key into the back-end of his dino-mode sail reveals a spring-out blade, a gimmick also usable in robot mode as a horn. His dino-tail detaches to form a flail-weapon in robot mode, which plugs into holes in the tops of his hand-claws. He comes with a silver-bordered Jungle Planet styled Cyber Planet Key; the Hasbro version has the Key Code "s48a" stamped on the back.
- The Hasbro and Takara versions of the toy have a pretty significant difference in their coloration: Hasbro's is a higher-contrast scheme, using a more subdued light-green with a deeper forest-green, while Takara's has a more vibrant light-green but uses a pale camo-olive green rather than the Hasbro version's dark-green.
- This mold was also used to make Cybertron Repugnus.
Trivia
- Undermine is one of the few Transformers who canonically have more than two arms in robot mode. Though his dino-mode forelimbs fold up into his chest in robot mode, in the Cybertron cartoon, they are shown as being just as animate as they are when he's in beast-mode.
- Undermine's head is a homage to the Decepticon Pretender Submarauder.
