The sole combiner and Super Class figure released in the Animorphs toyline, Tri-Rex was only available as a giftset including Jake, Marco, and Cassie. Each figure transformed from a dinosaur/human hybrid into a section of the dinosaur; Jake formed the head/neck/arms, Marco formed the legs/midsection, and Cassie made the tail/spine. The toy featured an impressive amount of articulation in the combined form and even boasted electronic functions in the form of a button-activated roar (seemingly identical to the Godzilla roar sound effect) and stomping sounds when the legs were pressed in. The tail is made of a soft rubbery plastic and features a simple 'bend-and-release' whipping gimmick
