The name or term Terradive refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Terradive (disambiguation).

Terradive is one of the five Air Team robots who make up the legendary super robot Superion Maximus. Who knows what mysterious thoughts lurked inside his gun-turret head? One would think he'd be prone to migraines. Alas, Terradive, we hardly knew you.

Japanese name: Skydive

Energon cartoon continuity

Note: Terradive is almost always shown only as a limb to Superion Maximus. He was shown as a separate jet once or twice, but under the direct control of the Superion Maximus consciousness. It is therefore unknown whether or not Terradive and the other limbs are alive, let alone sentient.

Terradive also appeared once as a separate jet in a video game Hot Shot was playing. Could this mean that he later starred in Captain C, the Game Master alongside a pair of robot-catgirl-maid sidekicks? Most assuredly it does not. Distribution

Later, he got exploded like the hollow-earth theory in a fight with Bruticus Maximus. Spark

Oh me head...

Terradive shares a mold with his teammate Sky Shadow, transforming into a blue and white A-10 "Thunderbolt" plane. He can also form a leg or arm to any Energon-series "Powerlinx Combiner" super robot, though his nominal placement is as the left arm to Superion Maximus. He comes with a shield/double-blaster that can become a footplate or "hand" for his combined mode, plus a blue "super energon" Autobot-style energon chip.
This mold was also used to make Cybertron Skyfall.

In Japan, Terradive (aka "Skydive") was only made available as part of a complete Superion gift set. The two version are largely identical, the main difference being that the Takara release uses a darker clear-blue for the "energon" bits than the Hasbro version.

Terradive was repackaged on a Universe-themed card and sold through discount chains in the US like Big Lots!. No mention of his combining ability is made on the cardback.
