gift from the Oracle, the technorganic orchard consists of a large number of technorganic plants which Optimus Primal believe to be the future of Cybertron. They grow in the Oracle's chamber, deep beneath the planet's surface, and are cared for by the Maximals.

Following Optimus Primal's resurrection, the orchard sprung up around the startled Maximals, and Blackarachnia observed the plants were technorganic in nature. Fallout After Jetstorm was turned back into Silverbolt, the Maximals took some time to reflect on their victory in the orchard, though the calm didn't last for long. A Wolf in the Fold The Maximals' attempts to cultivate the orchard did not go well. The plants were on the verge of dying when Botanica arrived on the planet. She headed for the orchard where Primal reformattedher. After a Vehicon attack was repelled, Botanica examined the plants and realized that they only required the proper sort of light. Once that was provided, the plants began to flourish again. Home Soil
From that point, Botanica largely took charge of the orchard. The other Maximals collected Cycle Drone parts for use as equipment including carts and overhead pipe for the lighting. Sparkwar Pt. I: The Strike They even fitted the place with a lift. Sparkwar Pt. III: The Siege After the apparent demise of Megatron's spark, Optimus assigned Botanica and Rattrap to tend to the orchard, much to Rattrap's dismay. While the pair were doing so, Megatron's depolarized spark possessed some Cycle Drone parts and attacked them. When it destroyed a number of the technorganic plants, Botanica dropped some of the overhead piping on it. Spark of Darkness
As the Maximals and Vehicons clashed in a final battle to control Cybertron, Megatron sent Mole Drones to the technorganic orchard to destroy the plants. Botanica sensed the danger and hurried there with Rattrap and Nightscream to defend it. Though they fought long and hard, Megatron was ultimately able to take control of the Oracle, depriving them of the power boost they'd gained, and the trio were overcome by Cycle Drones. Endgame Pt. II: When Legends Fall When Optimus Primal found himself there during his fight with Megatron, he discovered that the Vehicons had completely destroyed the orchard.
Once Megatron was defeated, Cybertron's newly technorganic surface was colonized by similar plants, although some new varieties were also present. So it wasn't a total waste of time. Endgame Pt. III: Seeds of the Future
