Does Auggie Canay? Sherman Dam?

G1 might not consider RiD its future, but RiD sure considered G1 its past. Can we point the the g1 articles for this kind of thing? Does documenting these thigns in the g1 articles require a special disclaimer or clarification? Will it be standardized enough to require a template like {{RiDG1}}? -Derik 05:55, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

RID considered G1 its past? I couldn't possibly disagree more. The history of Transformer-human contact is obviously completely different between the two shows, and there is no possible way to reconcile them without completely making stuff up like, "well, it's thousands of years later and humanity has almost died out and come back, but nobody remembers the old civilization", and even that wouldn't explain Sherman Dam and Auggie Canay. It's far worse than the Armada-Energon vs Cybertron difficulties. The strongest statement one could possibly make is that RID and G1 are divergent timelines which split off from each other at least four million years ago, leaving Earth to develop as it did in the G1 timeline, but Cybertron totally different.

To kind of answer your question: this article can easily be a "multiversal" Teletraan I article. It doesn't have to be exclusively about the G1 Teletraan I. I've added a line to the intro, and think the article is fine as-is. --Steve-o 07:53, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

Split[]

If we're going to make a separate article for Animated Teletraan I, should we split the G1 Teletraan I and the RID Teletraan I apart? -- SFH 02:20, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

ewait 6 issues and see how differentiated it gets. -Derik 02:24, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
The Animated version's article should be at Teletran 1 (which is currently a redirect), as per the end credits. --KilMichaelMcC 04:21, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

BE Voice[]

Is it just me, or (after thinking about it) does Teletraan I sound sort of like Depth Charge? (low, monotone voice)209.247.23.41 18:48, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

It's just you. :) If you're talking the G1 Teletraan, those are two different voice actors. --Suzyprime 19:12, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
But if he's talking BW Teletraan, then yes - both it and Depth Charge are voiced by David Sobolov. - Chris McFeely 19:46, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
