Do the tie-Fighters with the death star actually have PX ports? And if so, can we get a picture of them? -Derik 05:24, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

They do not. They're called Mini-Cons for no other reason than that they are mini. --ItsWalky 05:30, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Then I would like a scan of the packaging-instructions which does this-- because it's so weird.
or you can just read Hasbro's blurb about the toy: [1] —Interrobang 17:43, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Split[]

I propose this article be split into TIE Fighter (Mini-Con) (about the mini-con character) and TIE Fighter about the class of fighter of which we have both Mini-Con and non-Mini-Con representatives. It's kinda a mish-mash now.

And with due respect to Hasbro's official photos- they don't really show off the Mini-Cons very well. Can we substitute Somebody else's photos? (By choice one taken for this purpose, using the camera's macro setting to show us the details of the transformation.) This same guy have photos that show off the Death Star transformation (IMO) Better than Hasbro's pics. (Though if we want to use MegaBee's photos we need to ask his permission-- he has not released them under Creative Commons.) -Derik 11:11, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

No on the split, because there's nothing to establish them as characters and there's barely enough information to fill out one article, let alone two. For the pictures, do whatever you want. —Interrobang 17:43, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
They're as much characters as Bug Drones, who have their own article. -Derik 03:51, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
I also disagree with the idea of splitting the article. I think it's more convenient to list both instances here, similar to Mountain Dew Robot. --Steve-o 19:41, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

Mech mode[]

Am I right in assuming the mini TIE fighters turn into robots by... flipping a head out? (and if I'm wrong, could we have picture proof?) 90.192.94.215 17:41, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

They look vaguely more like tails.... And I mean Vaguely in that really they don't look an awful lot like anything...-Shadow Mask Prime@Home 86.132.216.229 21:44, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
