Not being very familiar with Gundam, I tried to find images of the fighter that User:66.114.66.77 has added. What I found was this, which doesn't have swept-forward wings at all. What am I missing? --Steve-o 15:11, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

How is he a fucking Su-47 Berkut? What does he look like? Where is his fucking vehicle mode photo?

Again, the toy isn't out yet. We've seen some at Comic Con, but that one was painted up as Thundercracker, and was a hand-painted proto to my knowledge. We can't really put much up until there's more official stuff.--Rosicrucian 00:55, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
No, it was painted as Starscream. --FortMax 01:25, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Starscream is dark blue now?--Rosicrucian 02:07, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
He certainly is in the clips we've seen... --ItsWalky 02:55, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Weird.--Rosicrucian 02:57, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Starscream is not so blue in actual screen grabs from the animation here: http://derrickjwyatt.blogspot.com/2007/07/transformers-animated-at-comic-con-2007.html --Swindle 03:12, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
If you say so! --ItsWalky 13:31, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Considering the quality of the screen grab on Swindle's link is better than on yours, I'd tend to agree with him more. --Detour 13:54, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Eyedropping that one ALSO gives you blue. Starscream is also blue in Eric_Siebenaler's Animated art for the next issue of the Collector's Club magazine, as seen in a recent upload here. --ItsWalky 15:02, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Re: Starscream being blue now: Why not? He's already been black, dark grey, copper green, tan, and black and purple.
If you look at it, you can see that all the decepticons has that basic purple color on them, so they look more like a whole military-unit raither then a bunch of rapair-bots. -Hepathos 16:11, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

His toy next year once it comes out or something will be mighty expensive. Hey I saw his jet mode and it looks like a Cybertronian Jet based off a Su-47 Berkut.(Anti-Spammer 20:15, 31 October 2007 (UTC))

His toy is a Voyager-class figure. As such, you're looking at around the $20 range, just like all the other Voyagers. It'll still be less expensive than the Ultra/Leader/Supreme toys, if any.--Rosicrucian 20:19, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

Geez, that picture of him makes him look twice as conniving and backstabbing than he ever was in G1.

I have an image of his toy[]

Here it is. I need help with the caption, though. Any ideas? Mr. Florky 14:53, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Lotta watermarks on that. Got one without? JW 14:54, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

And a watermark is.....? Mr. Florky 15:09, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Those words superimposed on the image. In any case, we cannot use this image on the wiki, as the toy pictured there was stolen. --FFN 15:20, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Stolen?!? I had no idea. So sorry. Can you fill me in on the details? Mr. Florky 15:23, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
That is a test shot of a toy made by the factories to test the toy for painting and safety, or are just pre-production versions. They were likely swiped as they are usually destroyed afterwards. Hasbro and TakaraTomy do not like these being leaked and distributed around because poor posing/incorrect transformation in these sorts of photos or incomplete colours/paint may impact negatively on the perception of the final retail toy. --FFN 15:30, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Okay. Got it. Again, really sorry. Mr. Florky 15:37, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Quote?[]

How come the dramatic "Do not try to deceive a Decepticon" quote isn't used. That sounds really cool. Inferno'sQueen 15:07, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

I personally think the "solemn face" quote better captures Starscream's personality.
Also, the very first thing you did upon getting an account here was to change that quote. We prefer that new users make more substantive contributions before tweaking the frippery. JW 15:19, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Hmm... I guess the "solemn face" is more Starscream-ish. However, I have also uploaded a screencap for Roll Out (online game) and fixed a grammar mistake on this talk page. Inferno'sQueen 15:23, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
We appreciate your efforts, and we look forward to your future contributions.
However, on Talk pages, I'd strongly recommend against editing other people's comments. Fixing grammar mistakes in articles is wonderful, but you shouldn't edit other people's Talk page comments, unless there is some serious, page-breaking problem in them. In this particular case, your edit was harmless, but I wouldn't do it again. JW 15:35, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

And then Starscream was undead.

Thanks for the tip. ; ) Inferno'sQueen 15:40, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Yes the "Solemn Face" quote is more Starscream like. "Do not try to deceive a Decepticon" seems more like something Megatron would say.

A reminder to editors: Spoilers Warnings Please![]

Earlier, somebody put up spoilers for Mission Accomplished without any sort of header or warning. I've added the warning now. Just a reminder to editors to put warnings on new episodes. I'm pretty sure that the newest US episode is the rule, right? --Netbug009 05:25, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

That is correct. Spoiler tags for the newest US episode, and no spoilers in the intro paragraph whatsoever.--RosicrucianTalk 05:37, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
My bad!

Toy[]

Does anyone know if a starscream toy will be released in show accurate colors?

Starscream's Cockpit[]

Anyone else think Starscream's cockpit looks vaguely like Spongebob's tie? --75.181.69.137 23:29, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Null rays[]

In the Toy Bio to be specific, he has sonic strikers. Where did it ever say nulls antways76.68.69.253 19:35, 11 June 2008 (UTC) My friend has the toy it says his guns are Sonic Blast strikers or something like that, not Null-rays. I think we should take off animated on the null ray page and say he has sonic blast strikers (or something like that. It isn;t a null ray)!

His Hasbro website bio says he has "Nullray Cannons." --KilMichaelMcC 20:42, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

Has this ever happene before? which one is accurate? Is there a protocol for this? When a user gets the toy? 76.68.69.253 20:45, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

They've been referred to both on the Hasbro website and the cartoon itself as null rays. Stop freaking out.--RosicrucianTalk 20:48, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
What episode was it reffered to as null rays? And could the sonic thing be noted in the toy section as an error or something? it is interesting. An thundercrackerish. Cycloneprime 20:50, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
It's not even an error. His Hasbro bio refers to both his nullrays and the fact that he "creates a sonic scream that make [sic] powerful sonic blasts of sound that can send enemies spinning through the atmosphere." This is a non-issue.--RosicrucianTalk 21:04, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

OK, but it refers to the weapon as a sonic shock blaster and doesn't mention nullrays Cycloneprime 21:20, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

The sonic sreams it refers to aren;t guns, the Profile says Sonic Shock Blaster, and the hasbro sight says nullray cannons not null ray. Which Slagging episode has that line! Tell me! i'll stop arguing if I see that part.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Cycloneprime (talkcontribs) 20:18, 13 June 2008.
Dude, just let it go. There are things worth getting all Aspergers about. This isn't one of them.--RosicrucianTalk 20:42, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, But someone earlier said it was in a line in an episode, can anyone tell me what episode? My friend is going to post an image of the bio I think, so I will just ask for the episode untill then. On another note, he has flipout rist blasters when you push the sonic shock blaster forward (that is what it says)Cycloneprime 20:59, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Also, even the sonic screams could be noted as a thundercracker homage. The bio seems to be inaccurate, as it says Prime can barely take screamer out, but this isn;t supported elsewhere. Different Continuity?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Cycloneprime (talkcontribs) 20:59, 13 June 2008.
You are giving me such a headache.--RosicrucianTalk 21:19, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
I suggest you rewatch Transform and Roll Out! part 3. --ItsWalky 21:09, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Thank you Walky Cycloneprime 21:14, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Transform and Roll Out! is where Prime "can barely take Screamer out." I have no idea where it referenced his null rays. --ItsWalky 21:17, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

I think screamer would of won without the plot device, but oh well. Until I find out what episode it is in, i'm not counting that evidence. Would an image of the bio help my case? is the hasbro bio considered more canon then the toy bio? "Oh well. More where they came from"--Cycloneprime 22:14, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

MAybe this means no thundercracker? and I think the Bio problem should be noted somewhere--Cycloneprime 23:39, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
Just...stop. You're overthinking this.--RosicrucianTalk 23:52, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
...Ok...when you watch the show, those weapons are obviously not sonic! they are kinda beam like...almost.....like a ray. and just like G1, these rays are pinkish purple, making it seem they are similar weapons. I mean, isnt this an issue of contradicting Author intent and Canon? I sure as hell am gonna refer to them as nullrays.--Skyglide 17:07, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

They NEVER get starscreams guns right on the toy, EVER! look at the Movie toy, look at the classics toy, look at the G1 toy, apperantly, a long skinny tube with a caution cone shaped thing on the end is impossible to mold... I HATE this toys guns why are they orange? Why do the sides of his arms open? Why can't they just make him look like he does in the show? They practicly ruined the movie Screamer's toy by making his hands his guns, would it have been so hard to give him arms and hands, with a detachable, movie-accurate gun?

Toy problems[]

Hey, did anyone else get this figure in like, terrible condition? Mine still had those mold sprue bits on the feet, and all the bits that hold the fingers into the hands were practically not there, causing the fingers to fall off if you poke them with a hair. and the tail fins had the same problem.the right hruster wouldn't fully split to form the foot. And those little panels that open when you move the guns forward? they just popped right off when i moved the gun, and went flying. I actually returned it because it had so many problems. Is this wide spread? or did i get lucky and pick the worst starscream ever? Cause if this is widespread it should probably be noted in the toy section.--Skyglide 20:06, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

Mine is fine, just fine, but, on another note, why the hell DO the sides of his arms pop open anyway, were there supposed to be missiles in them or somthing cool?

I love all of you[]

because of the caption for Starscream meeting Femme-scream. Seriously, you guys are awesome.KrytenKoro 09:46, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Oh no he didn't[]

(In the Trivia Section) Megatron didn't turn SS into a head, Sumdac did when he cut his head off with the Headmaster unit. I tried changing it, but someone changed it back. Am I missing something? Mechabreaker Prime 00:25, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Point taken. I've reestablished your edit and left a note for the person who reverted it.--Apcog 04:52, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
Thank You. Mechabreaker Prime 04:53, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Last piece of trivia.[]

I think it should be taken off because he could of easily trained after there last fight.

"Slow Mo" transforming[]

Starscream has a few scenes when he trasforms in "slow mo". (Megatron does this quite often). I think it is hilarious how he is so arrogant that they stuck in his smile flashing.Blitzwing899
