Soundwave's badassery: Detected

Well not actually "In" the two minute long trailer he does speak, and just from that one line I almost crapped my pants in exitement! "Autobot presence: Detected, Commence: Termination." I think we should add that quote to this article.-- Ghost in the Machine 11:49 A.M. May 22, 2009

with all due respect, I've seen all trailers presently available, several times, and not once did I hear that phrase. Xeno the Hedgehog 06:31, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Why is it whenever anyone says: "With all due respect", they really mean "kiss my ass"? It's in the two minute RotF GAME trailer, which is currantly availible. So, put it back.-- Ghost in the Machine 6:44 P.M. May 25, 2009 (UTC)

I apologize, I thought you were referring to the theatrical trailers. Xeno the Hedgehog 06:33, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

I should have said the game trailer in the first place, my bad! :)

Article pending: Deletion?

Soundwave rules!! He is gonna rock this movie! I do not think it is wise to delete this article. User:RayxCreamMaker 9:19 A.M. July 26, 2008

Better to delete now and do a new article once we actually know something.--RosicrucianTalk 13:24, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
Agreed. --Detour 13:28, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
Why the fuck are we still tolerating this idiot? —Interrobang 18:41, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
While the article is currently useless, we will eventually need it, and until that time, you can be sure if we delete it now, it will be periodically remade up till the point we know enough to make a proper article. Maybe just put a tight lock on it instead, so we don't have fools updating it with every rumour that is exposed to the sun only to burn up into nothing within a few seconds.Shadow Mask Prime 21:13, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

yeap, i agree with yer.... put a lock on it

don't delete it. when the movie comes out we will know more and be able to write it in if you delete it,then you will have to create a whole new article instead of just editing this one.

  • looks like the judgement for deletion is decided QX100 08:07, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Shouldn't we put a joke?

On the pic where Soundwave's face is shown, shouldn't we add a joke like all of the other articles?--Jaichigo 05:03, 30 July 2009 (UTC)Jaichigo.

Dark of the Moon - Vocoder?

Is Soundwave going to have his proper G1 vocoder voice in DOTM, or are we going to have to endure another movie with "Dr Claw" in it? Also, are any more cassettes, like Rumble and Laserbeak, going to feature? Helix341 18:13, March 28, 2011 (UTC)Helix341

We won't know until we know. But is it really so bad that he doesn't have the vocoder? He's voiced by Frank Welker isn't he? and if memory serves, there was at least one episode of the Generation 1 cartoon in which they neglected to put the vocoder effect on his voice, so in a sense nothing's changed. Xeno the Hedgehog 05:18, March 29, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, but most other Soundwave's have the vocoder - it's part of the character. It doesn't feel right with him not having one Helix341 17:35, March 29, 2011 (UTC)Helix341

He has the vocoder voice in The ROFT Game, it just sounded great. I'm with Helix.Shockwave 56 17:52, March 30, 2011 (UTC)

Japanese Voices

This was Soundwave's Voice actor, Frank Welker has Provided voiced him in English. in Japanese Version Daisuke Gori Voiced Soundwave in his Final Film Role, in ROTF. Then Jiro Saito Voiced Him in DOTM. Isn't it? --Mysterious User 14:41, July 31, 2011 (UTC)

main pic

Usage is appreciated, but I thought it was first appearance only? --Warpath14 17:46, August 3, 2011 (UTC)

Well, I update it because this is his full body, I can change back if there is a full body of his ROTF appearance. --TX55TALK 00:56, August 4, 2011 (UTC)
