- Yaargh. I know it exists, but I can't find it. It likely isn't "Belmond", unless Konami wanted to give a family of vampire killers the name of a city in Iowa with a population of 2,500, or "Belmont", since the kana end with "do", not "to". - This is not the same thing. "Belmondo" is a legitimate name and uses different Katakana than "Belmont" (Berumondo is not the same thing as Berumonto). Minelba is nonsense based on misunderstanding of the Katakana for Minerva (both use Mineruba). —Interrobang 07:41, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
In regards to that, we still have this article at Beastformers rather than "Battle Beasts", their Western interpretation. Despite the "Battle Beasts" having appeared in Dreamwave and DDP Transformers fiction, because they've never been identified as such, we've stuck with the Japanese name. - Yes. They've used it for 20 years in English. That indicates that they stick with their original English names, not that it's the official Japanese Romanization (or the best one).
