The IDW Beast Wars profile books are not out yet, which is why I didn't immediately revert the erasing of Magnaboss Silverbolt's toy information from this article, but... yeah, that's why that was moved here. Apparently, Magnaboss Silverbolt is G1 Silverbolt, and the upcoming IDW BW material is going to say so explicitly. Hooray! --ItsWalky 22:08, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

Just revert it and put in a note or a cite. -Derik 00:43, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Nnnnnnn. Merging the Magnaboss guy with the G1 guy seems really off to me. For ten years, there's been no indication at all that they're related in any way. Then suddenly IDW comes along and says "oh by the way", and we totally erase an entire character from existence? -- Repowers 16:02, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
If you can tell me anything about Magnaboss Ironhide, Silverbolt, and Prowl as characters, then be my guest. --ItsWalky 16:06, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Oh, like THAT's ever stopped anybody on this Wiki from getting their own page!
But anyways, if like some future license holder declares that they're in fact separate characters, then what? (yeah, real likely, I know.) I guess by way of comparison, we don't take the IDW movie adaptation as the final word on who became Cyclonus. The movie still showed what it showed. Why are we treating Magnaboss differently? -- Repowers 16:23, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
If we ever get any evidence to the contrary, we'll change the page accordingly. --ItsWalky 16:30, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
While I'm not fond of the idea that two thirds of the population of the Beast Wars were guys from G1, I really don't think this is going to be a big issue. I mean Magnaboss Silverbolt never had an especially large amount of screen or page time in any sense. Don't say erased, say amalgamated or combined or integrated.--Zodberg 16:08, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

I'm thinking Universe Silverbolt's alt mode is meant to represent the supposed look of reportedly classified stealth airplanes like the Aurora. I don't think it looks all that much like the XB-70 Valkyrie. Perhaps a more modern interpretation? -Kevin
