I'm pretty sure the yellow Scrapmetal's bio made it pretty clear it was a drone, while the red Scrapmetal's bio said he was the single sentient one. So technically, aren't they two different characters?--Spectre 21:56, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

- Yeah, but the toy writeup seems to suggest that Hasbro's yellow version was more of a variant than a legitimate new release/character. --Spectre 22:11, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- More specifically, it implies that either toy can be either, but actually the yellow version is specifically just a drone (i.e. the sentient Scrapmetal is a red one). At least that's my understanding. --Andrusi 00:46, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
