Any rate, I'm iffy about it myself. Yeah, it's named, but I'm not really seeing how it's different enough from any other Powerlinx two-bot combo in the series we don't article-ize, being basically "Optimus wearing Omega Supreme as a coat". --M Sipher 00:20, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

The reason I added this page was because an Energon article misnamed it "omega prime" and linked to the RID character page instead of this one. Silly as the names are, the combination was called Optimus Supreme.

:Well, it's good to have the name right, so it's good that you corrected the other article. But I agree that this page doesn't really need to exist. We can just put the info about Optimus Supreme on Optimus' page. So, whoever made the link in the first place and misnamed him was a little overzealous, I guess. --Steve-o 22:34, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

I got here from the Energon episode list, because there's an Energon episode named Optimus Supreme. But.. uh, this isn't about it, and apparently we wanted to delete this article two months ago anyway? Thought I'd call attention to it again. --Monzo 07:53, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

I've always thought it was somewhat redundant to give combined modes their own pages - the first pair that comes to mind is Constructicon and Devastator (G1). Would the devastator page be somewhat redundant, as every single appearance he's in also, to the best of my understand, features all the Constructicons? What am I missing? --Zodberg 12:29, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

:Devastator is a character, while "Constructicon" is a subgroup or a group of characters. They are semantically different entities. Combining those two articles would, at the very least, require us to come up with a new hybridized article format which can accomodate covering two completely different sorts of entity in a single article. There is more to an article than a fiction section. That said, when a combined form is not a new character, I think that combined form doesn't need its own article. --Steve-o 14:31, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Why isn't this just under Prime's page? It's not like his personality changed, if Optimus Supreme gets a page then so should Wing Convoy and Liger Convoy(excuse me, I can't remember whatever silly names Habsro gave those forms), and that would just be silly 85.195.123.29

I don't know. I merely cleaned it up to our basic formatting standards, I don't have the authority to ask somebody to delete it without prior discussion. --FFN 23:37, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

"Liger Convoy" isn't silly?

The reason I added this page was because an Energon article misnamed it "omega prime" and linked to the RID character page instead of this one. Silly as the names are, the combination was called Optimus Supreme. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.250.215.15 (talkcontribs).

Devastator is a character, while "Constructicon" is a subgroup or a group of characters.
Also, the combined robot does NOT always show up when the subgroup that composes him does. Devastator is absent from War Within 1, Megatron Origins (well, #2 at least, I have no inclination to read #3)... --M Sipher 15:43, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
