Is this guy going to fly like in Transformers Cybertron? The article called Animated Optimus Prime said something about flying somewhere.(Soldier 79 01:07, 21 October 2007 (UTC))

Hey, his Bio says he's a washout. Should that go in now?--Chiasaur11

I personally am opposed to adding bio information gleamed from presumedly-stolen toys, and I interpret the style guide as saying we should not do so, but this was apparently a point of some contention just last week with Prowl and Bumblebee. I know at least one person who agrees with me, but I don't know everyone that was involved with the initial formulation of the policy.
There are a number of individuals (and officials here) who I would feel confident *guessing* feel the same way I do, but I don't know where to point you to see them state that. --Sntint 20:57, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Actually the bios were not taken from "Stolen toys", but premilinary toys send out to big toyshops. It even had it written on them. --Hepathos 21:31, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Where is it written on them that they are preliminaries for toy stores? And if they are, why are they on eBay? --Sntint 21:36, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
Well it WAS written on Prowl. And they on eBay 'cuz some people are crazy enought to play 180 bucks for them. --Hepathos 22:39, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
...but who PUT them on eBay? Can you provide evidence that these are preliminaries sent to stores? Also, can you provide evidence that the owners of these stores are the ones putting the toys on eBay?
Because I think Toy Fair, and its equivilants, are how Hasbro advertises upcoming product to retailers. Not by sending them advance copies. --Sntint 22:50, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Sntint is correct -- we do not post information gleaned from leaks or stolen toys. We stick strictly to officially-released/condoned stuff. That goes for images, plot summaries, character names, etc.. Buyer samples -- if these particular toys even are legitimate samples and not simply being billed as such -- are a greyer area, admittedly, but we are staying away from them as well. Unless the toy was purchased from a retailer by a consumer, or the bio was officially released in some capacity (press release, website, promo flyer, etc.), we still consider it "coming soon". eBay is not a legitimate avenue for breaking news. --Steve-o 23:14, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

Toys mouthplate

"In robot mode, his head has a retracted mouthplate." Really? Where does this info come from? I have nevere seen any pic of his cybertronian mode with mouthplate. Can anyone else confirm?--GUIGUI 12:16, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

He means, that he has his face with retracted mouthplate. You can't slide it out. --Hepathos 13:07, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Oh, yes, of course. Thanks.--GUIGUI 14:51, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
