- I believe it's a reference to Nosecone's ubiquity in Transformers collections-- "9 out of 10 TF lots on e-bay have a Nosecone" etc. He was interesting-looking and cheap enough to be widely purchased, but boring enough (as a character) that no one formed attachments to him, so he just kinda wanders around loose... -Derik 21:43, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
