Not sure about this, but wasn't there a preview or prequel story or some such that never got published? Some nonsense about Prime having visions, and chunks of shark meat floating around an Autobot ship?.... Repowers 01:08, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Yes. There was a "Volume 2 preview" that was available only in the trade for Volume 1. It had nothing to do with Volume 2. --ItsWalky 01:17, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
The shuttle turned out to belong to Omega Supreme and jetfire in Volume 3, didn't it?
(It was wonderfully twisted, the rewrites are SO obvious.) -Derik 02:12, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
The Autobot shuttle found in Alaksa at the end of V1 is the same one Scourge emerges from, I guess the Autobots brought it up from the bottom of the ocean before the Decepticons arrived. Likewise, Prime's sudden collapse was likely part of whatever outside influencesd him and the Autobots, the Decepticons, and Grimlock to all meet up in Alaska. You can guess who that outside influence is.--Zodberg 18:20, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
...it was? I thought that Scourge came out of an escape pod, having escaped just ahead of Shockwave's pursuit.
The shuttle had been there for, like, a year when the Autobots and Decepticons were suddenly 'mysteriously drawn' to the arctic. -Derik 19:31, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
This was, like, so messed up. IIRC, wasn't Sarracini originally supposed to be writing Vol 2? So he set up the whole shuttle thing - although it'd hadn't been there THAT long, since that bunch of dead whales that were killed by shrapnel from it's crashing were still pretty intact when it was found. Then "Brad Mick" took over, went in a whole different direction, and Vol 2 opened with the paragraph that said the Transformers had been mysteriously drawn there, and that they had found an Autobot vessel. But in the story itself, the vessel was the escape pod that Scourge was in, not the shuttle from the preview, and it wasn't properly tied together until the ongoing, and Shockwave claimed to be the one who had summoned them there, so it didn't appear to have anything to do with the crashed ship or the escape pod. So... urgh. Brain. - Chris McFeely 19:42, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
Well! THAT sure clears it up.
Anyways, my point was that somebody who knows something about it oughta write it up for the Notes section. - Repowers 06:02, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
