It's said that at this point the Autobots are on the verge of extinction at the beginning of this episode. This strongly implies that at this point the Decepticons VASTLY outnumber the Autobots at this point. So why are approximately equal numbers of Autobots and Decepticons shown throughout the series? Perhaps something should be said about this in the article? I learned from experience to bring this up on a talk page before editing an article. I'm not real familiar with the structure of this wiki, so far.

I'm kind of working with the template that was here to begin with, so could someone tell me what's expected for "Transformers References" and "Real World Reference" sections? Also, what constitutes a minor character or a major character? --Infinata 23:40, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

"Transformers references," for MTMTEp1-3, I would think, would be non-existent. There wasn't any Transformers to reference back to yet. :) "Real World Reference" would be mentioning if, say, the Ruby Crystal Mines of Burma actually exist or not. As for major or minor characters, use your own judgment. I tend to peg the major characters as those who have speaking roles or do important things and the minor characters the ones who appear in the background or do very little. --ItsWalky 01:51, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

Is Teletraan 1 concidered a character?

It talks, so I'd say sure. --ItsWalky 02:18, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

So could I put him up on the character list for this episode?

As long as you format him properly in there. Those numbers after all the names indicate the order in which the characters appeared in the episode. You'll have to figure out when Teletraan I first spoke, give him the proper number, and then renumber everyone who appeared after him. --ItsWalky 02:23, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Got it I'll watch the episode again.

Uh, just a quick question: Why are there two (I'm not sure how to call it) "episodenav"s? I know this series has a Japanese version, but maybe, just maybe, two "episodenav"s is a little too much? I mean no offense! Please don't get angry! I'm just confused! -- Hwin

The answer is only known to our admin and editor of most things 80s Japanese G1, Chris McFeely. I was wondering myself, as I thought it looked messy. --FFN 06:49, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
The second nav box is, indeed, for the Japanese version. Although you won't notice the difference for a couple of episodes if you start clicked ahead from MTMTE Pt 1, the Japanese version puts the episodes into quite a different order, and inserts several of its own, new episodes into the mix as well, so it realy does need a separate set of nav links. However, you're right - it doesn't need to be two nav boxes. After I'd gone through and added all the links to a the pre-movie episodes, the dual nav boxes that we use for the US/UK comics were brought to my attention (see here, for example). Unfortunately, I have noooooo clue how to tweak the coding of the episode template to create this effect, and am waiting for some kindly soul with the know-how to fix it up for me. - Chris McFeely 10:51, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Thank you both! --Hwin 08:54, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

Animation glitch

"When Hound and Cliffjumper are being chased by laserbeak, when he shoots at them his gun is visable but no Laserbeak."

As I understand it, this wasn't an error. Hound and Cliffjumper split up so "at least one of [them] will make it back to Prime." Laserbeak followed Hound, dispatching only his gun to follow Cliffjumper.

Animation 'glitch'

Although the vehicle modes for the Transformers were different on Cybertron, their robot modes are exactly the same as on Earth.

Should this really be counted as an animation glitch? If I recall correctly, the whole robot + alternate mode alteration deal didn't take effect until perhaps RiD, or at the earliest Armada (if it happened in BW, I didn't notice). Perhaps it should be under trivia instead? MagarojaMR 20:25, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

Verge of extinction?

I'm probably going to sign up. But so far I haven't.
