A t-rex? With horns? -Derik 23:50, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
I dunno. Whatever the heck kinda dinosaur Trypticon was supposed to be. --DrSpengler 01:07, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
I figured it was a "kaiju", you know, a Godzilla-type rubber suit monster. Both very Godzilla-esque. Like Deszaras. --MCRG 04:07, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
Trypticon was a t-rex. Gigastron is not. He was remolded with distinctly non-t-rex horns on him. DETAILS man. You can't just say "well, his source mold was, so he must be too. That's never held up for TF, let alone with remolds. -Derik 06:24, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
Trypticon has three fingers on each hand. Neither one of them is a tyrannosaur. They're big dinosaur monsters. Also: nitpicking the species of dinosaurs badly represented by big robots isn't very productive. If "dinosaur" isn't good enough for the Wiki, I'd suggest leaving it at "theropod". (They aren't that, either, since they stand straight up and drag their wheeled tails behind them. Perhaps it should say "mechanical Hojoni.)-LV 19:19, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- He seems to be a Ceratosaurus (or other ceratosaur). I'm pretty sure Overkill was supposed to be one. Evan1975 23:25, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Sourcebook stupidity[]
Apparently, Gigastorm is the "leader of a subfacton of the Destron forces." Stupidity of using the Japanese names aside, what do we say about it? Are we going to have a Destron article now? Interrobang 17:50, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- There was, if I recall, at least one article in the first sourcebook that used "Destron" instead of "Predacon" as well. I'd be inclined to just write that off as a mistake - something that got missed in the search/replace. - Chris McFeely 17:57, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- Autojetter. "His job was to stay by Galvatron's side when the Destron leader was flying in dragon mode". Bizarrely, the bio uses both "Destron" and "Predacon". I think the implication here is that Galvatron's pack of Predacons are the Destrons.
- Autostinger also uses "Destron", again in reference to Galvatron's group. Interrobang 18:06, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
- And Galvatron's function is is "Deston [sic] Emperor (self-proclaimed)". I think the Destron thing is intentional. Interrobang 18:41, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
