::All of the other character models were done with some sort of real reference to the back (whether that be the toy or concept/control art), whereas the animators appear to have been winging it with the Technobots' backs. Compare, say, the Protectobots' animation models' backs to the toys to see some that are really accurate, for instance. Most don't have half their toy backs missing off their animation models, or a shoulder in the middle.--[[User:MCRG|MCRG]] 16:02, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

does he really have to eat lead sulphide with his energon or turn out with a rash OR is it you lot just joking again?[[User:81.108.233.59|81.108.233.59]] 16:15, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

Back view

Is the rear view of Lightspeed really any more toy-inaccurate than any other animated character? Kibble is virtually always removed in the animation, from the original MTMTE episodes in 1984 onwards; wheels, spoilers, wings, accessories... Afterburner's second wheel, the nosecones of the original Seekers, Megatron's extra gun bits, Nosecone's nosecone... The animation model has been generalized, but they always are. The rear view of Lightspeed does contain features not present in the toy (although the "windscreen" is not actually present, as he has a solid red back), but how is this noteworthy, compared to the other characters? Is it also noteworthy that he walks with two separate feet, instead of the conjoined ones on his toy, or that his car-mode glasshouse (windscreen, side windows) are significantly reduced in his animated robot mode?

I just checked the ark character model guide and low and behold lightspeed's back IS almost identical to his front. The Windscreen IS there even. It may not be collored in, but it's there. That's an interesting little fact. Is it something vitally important? No, But it's an interesting bit of Trivia, wich IS what the Triva sections of these pages are for, right? I say leave it. --ZacWilliam 13:05, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
