Under "technology"... there are the Headmaster Jr.s yet unaddressed. They certainly don't seem to have undergone any kind of cyborg-surgery, but they curl up into head modes just fine, and certainly aren't in any larger, bulkier armors. Fiction section[]
Given the presence of Headmasters in multiple continuities now, it really is time we gave this article a proper fiction section differentiated by continuity. After all, there are even differences between Marvel Comics and G1 animated here. Sentience[]
Part of the article currently reads: "there have been cases where the head (such as Cerebros in the G1 Cartoon) [...] are non-sentient constructs controlled entirely by the other partner." Cerebros in the G1 Cartoon was sentient - he didn't stop complaining about fighting through the entirety of Rebirth. Maybe in the comics (I don't know, never read them), but it does specifically say the cartoon. (And his counterpart in the Japanese G1 cartoon was the very sentient Fortress.) IDW[]
In IDW, doesn't "Headmasters" refer specifically to the group of human-piloted Sunstreaker clones working for the Machination, rather than the process or the concept? In the same way, say, "Neo-Knights" doesn't refer to the concept of super-powered humans in Marvel G1, but to that specific group. Or how the "Headmaster" in Animated is a specific character rather than a concept. - SanityOrMadness 04:42, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- There is technology, researched by the Zarak Consortium, Scorponok, and the Machination, which produces Headmasters.
