Robot Masters/Decepticonness[]
Er... where is Greatshot in Robot Masters? Also, was it outright said anywhere that he was a former Decepticon? I know he hung out with the mercenary Crossformers and Gaihawk, but I don't necessarily know if that means he was definitely a Decepticon himself... McFeely? Do you remember anything concrete on this? --Monzo 03:55, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
- Um, I don't recall he is a former Decepticon, either. IIRC, Victory anime only mentioned he work with Gaihawk and Crossformers in the past. --TX55TALK 06:14, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Old Stuff[]
I fully admit to not being very up on a lot of Japanese continuity, but I assume given that bio that there's speculation at least that this is a new form aof Sixshot (given the events of Headmasters) Can anyone give any pros and cons of the idea?--ZacWilliam 09:10, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
- I thought the Decepticons he doublecrossed were Black Shadow and Blue Bacchus. --M Sipher 09:46, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
- Great Shot is speculated to either be an upgraded SixShot, or SixShot's son. 85.195.123.24 22:49, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
- Which is utterly meaningless without proof. Fans make a lot of stupid "this guy is really this old guy we already know!" speculations. Remember when --according to fans-- Rhinox was Ironhide, Cheetor was Hot Rod, etc? --M Sipher 00:39, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

- I think I remember having this conversation with Hydra back in the day. I think his conclusion was that, while the two scenarios are pretty similar- there was nothing everr published, anywhere, to make them the same guy-- and the lack of any connection in the E-hobby reissues sort of 'passively' supports them being different people (because making/exploiting that connection is right up e-bobby's alley- and they didn't.) Sadly, I don't know Hydra's thoughts on this today, since he's likely to have a more refined argument than I do. -Derik 00:10, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
For what its worth, the PDType comics have Sixshot and Greatshot running around at the same time. But those comics also have Megatron and Galvatron running around together, so its not really the best material to draw conclusions from. --DrSpengler 01:00, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
I strongly expect that they were originally intended to be the same guy, but that someone decided they didn't want that much continuity between series. See: Galaxy Force. Chip 03:33, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- That does seem to be the likeliest conclusion to draw, given what we know. -Derik 03:50, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
