Beast-Bot[]

Okay, so... first the Gorillabot (no dash) toy in Big Adventures Transformers came out. Then the Beast-Bot II toy came out, indirectly implying that Gorillabot (no dash) was retroactively Beast-Bot I. Then, within the GoBots storyline, something turned Beast-Bot into the evil Preditron, and also there is a seperate evil Gorilla-Bot (with dash). So... uh, how does Beast-Bot's page get handled? --Monzo 13:45, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Old Stuff[]

I'm going to be splitting the Japanese Go-Bots characters off from their English counterparts. The reasoning behind this is that they're not the same characters. So, just like Razorclaw (BW) and Rockbuster have their own pages, so too will Reptron and Greg have individual entries. The main trigger that prompted this split was characters like Aero-Bot and Strong-Bot: if Beck and Gong are different characters, how can they both be the same character as Strong-Bot? The answer is, they can't. The obvious solution then is to treat Takara's Rescue Hero Go-Bots characters as separate from Playskool's Go-Bots (and Tonka's 1-2-3 Transformers.) --Salt-Man Z 18:18, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

That makes sense, I always saw putting the Jp releases in the articles for their American cousins as a flanking manuver-- halfway addressing them at the time, while knowing that they wold, eventually, need to get their own articles. -Derik 19:28, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, and there's only a couple of articles in existence at the moment, so it's not like it'll be a lot of work to make the switch.--Salt-Man Z 19:36, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

As a Transformers fan who knows nothing about this line, I'd really appreciate it if someone who does could put a few lines in about the basic premise of this series. Thanks, PacifistPrime

I put some extra info in the Go-Bots (cartoon) article, since I think it fits better there. Also, the Pure Love fansite has all four episodes of the cartoon for download, so you can check them out for yourself. It's adorable. --Steve-o 18:44, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
