Last call to object to giving Elita One's resistance team an entry under this name. They're repeatedly caleld 'The Female Autobots,' it may be an INFORMAL name, but it's the only name we have. it capitalized in the scripts? -Derik 00:15, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Is this lesbian female lovetoys business serious (I wouldn't put it past comics, to be honest)? If so, can we get a little elaboration here? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talkcontribs). 01:50, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

I think the title of this page be "Female Autobot" (singular). From the Style guide: "Article titles are singular; Dinobot (G1), not Dinobots (G1)."—Starfield 00:05, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

We make exceptions for group names (Wreckers, Neo-Knights, Avengers). It's especially true in this case, since it's not about every Female Autobot—not even all the ones in G1. It's a name for a specific group of female Autobots because we have nothing better. —Interrobang 00:09, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
I would think that "Dinobots" is a group name, but OK.—Starfield 00:14, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
This hairsplitting is completely fucking ridiculous. The style guide is crystal clear. If any plurals are to be allowed, there needs to be an exception made there. And I truly madly deeply believe that any but the most extreme exceptions will end up being arbitrary to the point of impossible to define. - Jackpot 00:19, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Being Dinobots is something inherent to the characters, but being a Wrecker isn't. A German is a German, but he could be part of the Black Panthers or not. (Yes, I know that example makes no sense.) —Interrobang 00:21, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
So Snarl can't leave the Dinobots and simply be a Transformer with a Dinosaur beast mode? I see what you are saying, I'm just playing devil's advocate.—Starfield 00:24, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Well, the Dinobots all share a common origin. And in one terrible continuity, they combine with each other. I'd say Snarl can leave the group, but he can't stop being a Dinobot. —Interrobang 00:30, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
"Inherency" is far too subjective to be a rule. What's "inherent" about being an Ultracon or Predacon (War Within) or Minion of Unicron or Child of Primus? More to the point, why does that matter at all? When have we ever, ever, ever written a singularized-group article as though it's really about the abstract concept of being that thing? It's always "CONSTRUCTICON: The Constructicons are Decepticons who blah blah blah." The rule makes far more sense as an organizational principle than as a meaningful construct. - Jackpot 00:36, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
For what its worth, I personally think group names should be plural (Dinobots), but I am happy to go by the style guide. I was just trying to be consistent.—Starfield 00:48, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

I've started up a topic over on Talk:Style guide. Let's work this out as a policy over there. - Jackpot 00:50, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

This article appears to be of a group, that is, Elita One's resistance team. As such, I think Arcee membership is questionable. I think she is an Autobot who is Female but not a member of "The Female Autobots."—Starfield 04:04, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Arcee's memebrship isn't dubious-- it's flat-out incorrect. She was never a member of Elita One's resistance group. >:( -Derik 04:09, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
She hung out around them in that comic that came with her model kit... --ItsWalky 13:00, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
...crap -Derik 17:34, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Which of course begs how the heck she exists as female Cybertronians were thought to be extinct.--RosicrucianTalk 05:43, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
It really doesn't. They existed on paradron for one- we know there are lots of lost colonies. The Secret Files of Teletran 2 intermezzo recap says (and I'm going from memory here) that a bunch of the season 3 cast was autobots from throught the galaxy who came to Earth when Optimus declared it their secondary homeworld. Circumstances, general continuity, etc... all indicate Arcee was from an Autobot coony or lost in space or... whatever. She wasn't hanging around the abandoned Cybertron. (In the season 2 episode in question, Shockwave and Elita's band seem to be, literally, the only 7 Transformers on the entire planet. He has to ask Megatront os end troops from Earth to help hims search for them.)
I've never really understood why people complained that Arcee "doesn't fit" with this episode. She fits perfectly well. -Derik 06:10, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Altmode images?

Think anyone could upload an image of the two unnamed ones' altmodes? 19:44, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
