hey, Repowers, dont suppose you thought it was a work in progress? obviously i am not done with what i am gonna do with it. nor is it finished. you could always, i dont know, contribute, instead of bitch about its current state. Thats what a wiki is about. we all contribute to make something fantastic. duh. Why dont you throw in effort to improve the article, instead of spending that effort insulting me with your bitching? --Skyglide 03:34, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

now, its like 11:47, i am going to bed. i am exhausted. i am however not finished here. For me this is something big, my first article creation. i want to do this right since i have recently been wrongly accused of being completely useless by one of the more rude users of the site. i am going to take my time. feel free to help, but please dont just be an ass. Try to not be an example of the greater internet fuckwad theory. Good night.--Skyglide 03:47, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
Then put some actual effort into it or don't do start it yet. You just put up a single sentence. The least that you could do is put in a category or a {{Inprogress}} on so we would know that you were working on it. -- SFH 04:14, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
Oh, thanks SFH, i was unaware there was an inprogress tag. --Skyglide 15:31, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
Dude.
You put up ONE SENTENCE. ONE. SENTENCE.
Then you wrote two lengthy rambling paragraphs here on the talk page trying to defend your ONE SENTENCE.
You didn't put any actual information in the article. You didn't set up any standard sections, you didn't mark it as a stub or a work in progress, you didn't put in any fiction or story links... you basically didn't do jack.
Our policy here is that not having an article at all is preferable to having a half-assed useless one. -- Repowers 04:55, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
you realize the actual article takes thinking, where as the 2 lengthy ramblings as you call them were how i felt. obviously it would take longer to make the article. its simple, really. --Skyglide 15:31, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
Then you should think about what you will write before beginning the article, and if you are too tired or whatever, then don't start the article without any content. --FFN 15:49, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
i hold to the theory that a wiki article is to be contributed to by anyone who can help. If i start a bare article, anyone with some knowledge can add to it, "put some meat on the bones" if you will. clearly that doesnt apply here on teletraan 1; it seems people prefer to bitch and complain then help. how very useless. i dont even know why i try.--Skyglide 16:37, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
The thing is you DON'T try. You made a rubbish one line article and expected other people to do the rest of the work. Donut 16:48, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

Exactly. One has to put forth more effort than that if one expects other people to pitch in. The article wasn't even up to snuff as a stub.--RosicrucianTalk 16:49, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

Wow. Just wow. I DO TRY, GIVE ME SOME SLACK HERE! this was my first article creation, if you scroll up to my second thing there you should understand. I was trying to help and, being a wiki, i assumed others would gladly pitch in. I now know trying to accomplish anything is futile in this environment of extreme pessimism and scrutiny! And listen Donut i WAS trying, i was in progress of trying to make something, don't be all like oh you made a rubbish one line article and expected us to do all the work. seriously! that is so rude, and i do not tolerate rudeness, so i assure you i will call out rudeness whenever i see it on this site!. and Rosi, i kinda respect you, so i am gonna say this nicely, i was putting forth an effort. please don't say i wasn't. like i must have said a billion times, i wasn't done, this was my first, it was gonna take a little longer to be "up to snuff". But when people jump down my throat with criticism, it really makes me not want to even bother helping. And i want to help, i really want to be like, a good contributing member of this site, but you people make it really hard to want to do so.--Skyglide 16:59, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

Case in point, the article now in place took me five to ten minutes to type, contained a full paragraph, and proper fiction section formatting. It is still a stub, but it at least qualifies as one now.--RosicrucianTalk 17:01, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

If a sentence is all you could put up, Skyglide, perhaps you aren't ready to make an article yet. Maybe you should make a sandbox where you could experiment, get a knack for what you're doing. We can accept first time mistakes, but we do want some effort out of people. -- SFH 17:04, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

You are probably right SFH. Reading the stuff that is there now i realize that i would not have been able to do an article on China, i have never read the kiss players or watched the japanese only G1 shows. Oh well, hopefully i will find something i can make that i fully know about.--Skyglide 05:24, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Out-of-fiction opening paragraph[]

Ignoring the whiner for the moment, the opening paragraph doesn't really jive with our other articles on various countries. Shouldn't we move the bit about their relationship with the brand to another section under fiction? Like 'The Real World', or something. --FFN 05:21, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

Again, i am obligated now to say, that it is extremely rude to refer to someone as "the whiner". Assuming you are referring to me, i must also say naff off, that was, completely unnecessary to say "Ignoring the whiner for the moment", the very fact that it is a new section means it is already completely separate from the previous one, so why would you choose to make a direct attack at someone in a comment completely unrelated to them?--Skyglide 05:21, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
