Aw, geez...

Just because they're ONE letter apart, doesn't mean that Blackrock's name is an homage to a completely different character who acts and/or looks nothing like the supposed "homage." Saying Blockrock is an homage to G.B. Blackrock is like saying Dran-O is an homage to jell-O because both end with "-O.". It's kinda graspinag at straws, there.--Dynamus Prime 17:46, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Eh, not a good comparison. It's one letter off a relatively uncommon name. Do you know a lot of "Blackrocks"? Also, Blockrock is Blaster's partner -- Blaster had a significant storyline where he interacted with Blackrock. It's really TOO close not to be a connection/homage. --MistaTee 17:34, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
I think your reasons are entirely coincidentally. I see no reason to believe it is an homage. --KilMichaelMcC 17:58, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
He turns into a block. Blaster rocks. This is not a reference to G.B. Blackrock. -Derik 17:55, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Also, y'know, the proverbial "block-rocking beat". - Chris McFeely 18:02, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
