the information hierarchy here is kinda... bad. Do we have a model franchise page? -Derik 23:11, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

There's not really a model, no. I believe most of the franchise pages are sparse, as there's not usually much to say about them that doesn't fit better on a dedicated page for their toyline or cartoon. I think it's important that the franchise pages exist, but, they are little more than super-brief overviews that point to more specialized articles. If you have ideas, please enact them. --Steve-o 18:18, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Kayers, thnks. I hate to impose an idea of order if there's actually an existing model. -150.253.89.215 18:26, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Kenner buyout Citation

I found this link on an archived version of Kenner's old site:
http://web.archive.org/web/20041210102159/www.kennertoys.com/history/history3.html

It's a brief rundown of Kenner's history, and mentions Hasbro purchasing Kenner/Tonka/Parker Brothers in 1991. Can this be used as a citation source, even though it's an archived version of a long-dead page? NebulanFree 02:54, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

Yes! ( We say so, and actually, wikipedia linking standards agree.) -Derik 03:50, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

Links to BW II and Neo

Unless I'm blind, at the moment, the Japanese BW series are only easily accessible through the Beast Era link on the main page, as we only list the US series. But given that in the Japanese continuity at least, Beast Wars (US cartoon) and the two japanese series are in the same continuity, shouldn't there be some sort of links to them somewhere? At the moment it would be fairly difficult for a newcomer or a non-editor to find these series (or well, any of the Japanese series) without searching for them. --FFN 05:56, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
