Another thing I'm missing, or just a typo? That the Quintessons have a planet called 'Astrotrain'? - Ratbat 08:24, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, I guess that's an old April Fools joke that got left. You see, there was this comic book series from Dreamwave called Micromasters, and the art was bad. Incomprehensible. So confusing this art was, that in a later letters page, they had to clarify that "That thing in the sky is not the Planet Quintessa, it is Astrotrain." So, uh, disambiguification link ahoy. Because it's hilarious. To me.
Feel free to dispose of it now, if you wish. --ItsWalky 19:10, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
I think it's funny and should be kept... since once Astrotrain's entry is filled out, there should CERTAINLY be a note about Micromasters. --M Sipher 19:38, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

HA! "Choo Choo Rocket." I approve. - Jackpot 22:00, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

Blitzwing and Astrotrain's fiction section orderings

I think SFH moved the Marvel Comics section up front because I often move that section up front because issue 1 published before the animated series debuted. However, I need to make it more obvious (by which I mean, put it in writing, instead of just being something I do...) that this is only so cut-and-dry for the 1984 characters. The real rule I have in mind is to list first the continuity in which the characters debuted. For example, 1986 movie characters would have the movie listed first, rather than their Marvel Comics appearances, as the movie was the genesis of these folks. And, in the case of the Triple Changers, I'm fairly certain they would have shown up in the cartoon before they showed up in the comics. (For example, in the cartoon, two of the three are pre-movie characters, but in the comics they don't arrive until Megatron and Prime are long dead.) This means, of course, that for the vast majority of G1, which continuity to list first is not so terribly obvious. Use your best judgment. --ItsWalky 04:49, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Oh. My mistake. -- SFH 04:56, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
No probs. It wasn't exactly spelled out anywhere. --ItsWalky 05:09, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

For what it's worth--

Astrotrain
First Cartoon Appearance
Megatron's Master Plan pt2/Original Air Date: 10.15.1985
First Marvel US Appearance
Crater Critters/June, 1987
Blitzwing
First Cartoon Appearance
Dinobot Island pt1/Original Air Date: 09.25.1985
First Marvel US Appearance
Crater Critters/June, 1987

And their Target: 2006 appearances would have been somewhere between September-October of 1986, so... yeah. --Monzo 05:16, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Puttin' the Train in Astrotrain
