I'll restrain myself from posting the Youtube links for the good of the wiki. --Hunter-113 18:57, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

The Wiki thanks you for your restrait...and expects all others to follow your example. -- SFH 20:29, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

I'd like to point out that this page is fully protected and not semi-protected as the template claims. (Also, the title is actually "A Bridge Too Close, Part II".) —Interrobang 13:48, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Sari's arm...

Notice a similarity? Though, it may just be coincidence...we don't know just *how* much of Sari is mechanical...

But, Midna's marks are more on the magic side of things... Sari is mechanical. What I find interesting (and ended up being a total surprise for me) is that her arm is of a technology that we've never seen before, prior to the show. (Tribor 11:45, 30 June 2008 (UTC))

(Also, please remember to sign your name)

Ah, sorry, sorry! Still not used to this format of a forum. I was more on about the cosmetic similarities. (Kildaver 13:29, 30 June 2008 (EST))

No problem, happens to me about half the time. If anything, fake skin over robotics is very much the same as the Terminators, although they have more of a solid steel look. And Sari doesn't blow up everything that moves.

If Sari ends up being a complete (or mostly) robot, maybe we can pitch that in as a real world resemblance. (Tribor 04:20, 1 July 2008 (UTC))

By the way, regarding "this format of a forum"... this is not a forum. --Sntint 00:09, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

transformers reference: megatron falling into the spacebridge

Is it really necessary to mention it? I think we can fairly bet the writters didn't have the "Transport into oblivion" in head when they did that scenery. I mean, the evil guy failling into a Vortex is a rather common thing in the animation. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by GUIGUI (talkcontribs).

Well, anyway if it cause nobody a problem, I'll remove it.

Continuity errors: Space bridge schematics

  • Bulkhead states that he gained his expertise on space bridges by studying schematics while on the energon farm. However, Megatron acquiring space bridge schematics in "The Elite Guard" was an enormous step towards conquering Cybertron. If space bridge schematics were available to every Autobot on a farm, then it shouldn't have taken Megatron four million stellar cycles to acquire the plans. Then again, Bulkhead states in "Autoboot Camp" that his dream is to be a space bridge technician, so he probably had an easier time getting his hands on a set. Maybe Megatron should have just signed up for the correspondence course?

Chris removed this error here saying that "Just because they're widely available to Autobots doesn't mean they'd be easy to get, especially as the Decepticons have been off Cybertron and in hiding for millions of years."

I don't buy it, Shockwave was made head of Autobot intel with ease, what does that say about Autobot counter-intel? Even if there was a war going on and space bridge specs were classified for most the time since Megatron started the war, afterwards the specs were so easy to come by that Bulkhead was allowed to see them. I don't see how Megatron, with millions of years worth of time on his hands was not able to snatch plans that were available to even the lowest civilians. It's a small, but clear plot hole that Megatron viewed getting the specs from the Autobot ship as such a triumph, yet they were commonly available. (Undecided) 21:50, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Bear in mind, Megatron's primary plans for conquest was the AllSpark. The space bridge didn't factor into his strategic thinking until it was destroyed. Megatron most likely devoted all his resources into finding the AllSpark instead of getting space bridge schematics. -- SFH 22:10, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
To be honest, deleting this was me acting against a recent example of something that bugs me - the picking out of tiny, pointlessly persnickety things and painting them as continuity errors that demand explanation, then spending more time and pagespace offering possible explanations for why this thing that's barely a problem in the first place is absolutely not a problem at all no sir. We're not trying to win fucking No-Prizes, here. - Chris McFeely
Essentially, you are arguing for a "No Prize" approach. "Note the oddity, but also note possible explanations. It's not an ERROR unless there's no way for it to make sense without bending over backwards?" -Derik 22:31, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Sides, for all we know the "Farms" might be heavily armed and guarded places where heavier autobots are assembled or where Energon is stored in large quantities, more heavily secured than to trust some outside intel officers to allow them strolling space into them.

Maybe the "schematics" are actually quite limited in detail, and Bulkhead gained his expertise in space bridges by extrapolating from the obvious. Megatron, however, didn't even care until recently, and certainly isn't enough of a scientist to devote so much time to something like that. Bulkhead did say he studied the schematics, not that he just read them. In that case, it would be pretty simple to explain, especially as its pretty similar to other historical geniuses like Newton or Galileo.KrytenKoro 11:12, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Closing credits

So does this mean I'm gonna have to wait for the freakin' DVD to see that last scene? GOD DAMN IT... Does anyone know if there are any plans to repeat the episode/series on a channel that doesn't have its dipshit host blabber over the good stuff? Barutazaru 16:15, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

The episode goes live on Toonami Jetstream in either 3 or 4 weeks depending on whether they decide to put up both episodes at once or split them up. We'll be able to watch it then without anything over the credits. -- Cyberlink420 17:38, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
Sexy! Thankyou, buddy. Barutazaru 17:50, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Season 3?

When's Season 3 supposed to premiere? 19:58, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

From what I heard, it's not going to start until this fall. I've yet to find any definite confirmation. (Tribor 05:47, 7 July 2008 (UTC))

Thanks for letting me know. 21:38, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

The Liar's kick

Are we really treating that as not a TFTM reference? He could have just walked away. --Thylacine 2000 16:26, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Did he said he completed his cyber ninja training?(Vengence will be mine megatron 21:40, 24 December 2008 (UTC))

The Movie Music?

it said in the real world references that when Omega emerged from the cliff, some music from the movie can be heard. which movie? G1? 2007? the show's pilot?

It doesn't sound like any G1 music, so I'm guess that rules out the G1 movie. But wait! Where was it said that the music played during this part was from one of the movies? --Sabrblade 01:02, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
