Sunder is one of the Deployers employed by the Autobot Blaster, and is thus a Mini-Con aligned with the Autobots. He also loves dubstep, and is always happy to play some for his teammate Rewind, in the hopes that its "gentle thunder" can help cure the archivist's data-retention headaches.

- Sunder is based on orange Laserbeak redeco Sundor from Kiss Players. His letter-swapped name comes from the Animated version of the character, who was only named in the pages of the The AllSpark Almanac II.
- Curiously, "Sunder" is the title of a track by dubstep artist Hubsmoke. Coincidence? Funny either way.
