Fiction
Generation 1 cartoon
In envy of the Autobots' vehicular modes, Megatron stole various human vehicles and customized them so he could have his own car team, the Stunticons. Before they were given life, he brought them out for a test drive via remote control, forcing them to flip, somersault, fly off the road, drive up cliffs and bash through forests without a scratch. The Stunticons having satisfied Megatron's idea of normalcy, he headed to Cybertron to get redneck Cybernetic personalities for them, save for Emocon. They join to become the ugly, animated Menasor. At some point in Cybertron's recent history, the Stunticons were deemed psychotic and too dangerous to function in society, and as a result were placed into perpetual stasis lock inside of a prison facility. Later, in an attempt to create a diversion while he set his final plans in motion, Shockwave arranged for the release of the Stunticons. They formed into Menasor and ran amuck for awhile, until Ultra Magnus arrived and began insulting them. Unable to reconcile with this, the five Stunticons began to bicker with each other over whose fault it was that they were failing, temporarily stopping Menasor and allowing Ultra Magnus to ram the combiner in the chest, forcing him to separate into his component parts and disabling the Stunticons.
Toys
Generation 1
- Motormaster (Stunticon, 1985)
- Japanese ID number: D-50
- Motormaster transforms into a black Kenworth K100 Aerodyne sleeper truck pulling a long dark silver trailer. Unlike many Transformers truck toys, his trailer is permanently attached to the cab. Motormaster can assume a base/repair bay mode which can connect to the Decepticon city Trypticon or the Autobot city Metroplex. A small black scout car that is included can be used in this mode.
- In robot mode he is armed with a long purple 'cyclone' rifle and a large silver vacuum-metallized sword. He also forms the central body of Menasor, with the small car becoming his chest piece and Menasor's mask covering his face. He also comes with Menasor's hands and feet.
- Motormaster's Japanese release included an Optimus Prime-like launcher mechanism for the base mode that can propel the Roller Car down the ramp.
- Drag Strip (Stunticon, 1986/1987)
- US team number: S4
- Japanese ID number: D-52
- Drag Strip transforms into a Tyrell P-34 Six-Wheeler race car. He comes with a purple double-barreled plasma energy cannon that attaches to the back of his vehicle mode.
- In robot mode he is armed with a small purple laser pistol. Since he was designed with the Scramble City-style combination, he can form the arm or leg to any similarly-constructed robot combination, though his nominal placement is as the left arm to Menasor.
- Dead End (1986)
- Japanese ID number: D-54
- The original Dead End toy transformed into a maroon Porsche 928. He comes with a black double-barreled laser cannon that attaches to the back of his vehicle mode.
- In robot mode, Dead End's legs transform similarly to Breakdown's, flipping and inverting. He is armed with a small black laser pistol. As he was designed with the Scramble City-style combination, he can form the arm or leg to any similarly-constructed robot combination, though his nominal placement is as the right arm to Menasor.
- Wildrider (Stunticon, 1986)
- Japanese ID number: D-53
- Wildrider transforms into a dark grey Ferrari 308 GTB sports car. He comes with a large, black double-barreled laser cannon that attaches onto the back of his vehicle mode.

- Breakdown (Stunticon, 1986/1987)
- US team number: S2
- Japanese ID number: D-51
- The original Breakdown toy transformed into a white Lambourghini Countach. He comes with a blue double-barreled laser cannon that attaches to the back of his vehicle mode.
- In robot mode, Breakdown's legs transform similarly to Dead End's, flipping and inverting. He is armed with a small blue laser pistol. As he was designed with the Scramble City-style combination, he can form the arm or leg to any similarly-constructed robot combination, though his nominal placement is as the right leg to Menasor.
Combined form
- Menasor (1986)
- Japanese ID number: D-55
- Menasor is formed by transforming Motormaster into his torso mode, attaching a chest plate/scout car, waist armour and mask on him, then connecting the other Stunticons into the appropriate limb slots in Motormaster's arms and legs. Fists and feet are then attached to the limbs. He is armed with Motormaster's sword and cyclone rifle.
- Menasor is the smallest of the Scramble City-type combiners in the Generation 1 toyline.
