Stratosphere is an Autobot air-soldier who provides transportation for the Autobots.
Fiction[]
Stratosphere was among the seven Autobots arriving on Earth in 1987 following Optimus' message. Landing in Peru where he would gain his Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar alternate mode, Stratosphere remained in the sky and chose not to join the others due to his size drawing human attention and revealing their existance.

When the Autobots needed a way to get down to Peru to stop the Terrorcons from obtaining the second half of the Transwarp Key, Stratosphere was called in, who met with them in Brooklyn.
Stratosphere landed in Peru, near Cusco and let the Autobots off, who met with Wheeljack. Stratosphere stayed behind to let the others finish the mission, but he came with them to the Maximals lair with Bumblebee's body. When the Autobots and Maximals went to finish off the Terrorcons, a shockwave from the Transwarp Key tower sparked energon to life on Earth, which Stratosphere noticed. A revived Bumblebee was brought to the fight against the Terrorcons by Stratosphere.
After the Terrorcons were killed, and Unicron's portal was closed, Stratosphere brought everyone back to Brooklyn.
