Star Saber had totally been qualified to lead the scheme to use a human restaurant on top of a drill to dig for oil. But noooooo, that upstart Swoop got to command instead, even though he wasn't even alive until recently. What's more, Saber was the only one the Dinobot was mean to—even the Decepticons got friendly treatment, for slag's sake.

Speaking of the Decepticons, that annoying Slugslinger wasn't much better. If he hadn't been all intimidating, Saber wouldn't have gone and dropped his spear while attacking. Then he pretended to be "fair" by letting Saber pick up the spear, only to shoot it out of his hands. Then he brought his buddies in, because outnumbering your enemy is soooooo fair, right? Yeah, whatever.

But that Blitzwing was the worst, what with that hideous human noise he broadcast that caused Saber to crash into Swoop and the drill, and get his wing all busted. The universe sucks.  Blitzwing Bop

Star Saber caught Side Burn talking to a hologram of a Decepticon. He announced he was gonna tell on Side Burn, but when Side Burn threatened to take him offline, he desperately opened fire. This only revealed that Side Burn wasn't Cybertronian at all. As Star Saber tried to activate Teletraan-X, Side Burn knocked him offline, proclaiming that the Underbase would be whole. Transhuman

Saber was eventually uncovered in Side Burn's secret laboratory by the Autobots after several other members went missing. Coalescence
