The name or term Sky Shadow refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Sky Shadow (disambiguation).

Sky Shadow is a Predacon/Decepticon from the Unicron Trilogy continuity. Or possibly the Beast Wars. Or both. Who the hell knows.

This character has no official visual representation whatsoever — yet, at least.

In the distant past, Sky Shadow was one of Megatron's most trusted lieutenants. He was sent to Earth during the legendary Beast Wars, and served as a strategist and tactical leader in the battle against the Maximals.

Eons later, the Autobot Jetfire would use his name while operating undercover as a Decepticon.[1]

Notes[]

  • Sky Shadow's Hasbro-given backstory attempts to link him to the Beast Wars, despite their belonging to an entirely different continuity family. If one ignores the fact that it was likely included as an Easter-egg for fans, one must assume there was a separate series of events at some point in the past of the Unicron Trilogy continuity that just also happened to be called the "Beast Wars". This not entirely without precedent, given the events of the Transformers Legends anthology story, Fire in the Dark, which also places a "Beast Wars" in the past of the Unicron Trilogy universe. (Of course, the collection is forwarded by saying that none of the stories should truly be considered as canon for the series they take place in, but the point remains.) These may or may not have born any resemblance to the Generation One continuity Beast Wars. Or maybe it's that damn Unicron Singularity mucking with time.
