Sideswipe is always happy to show off his prowess in the heat of a battle, and is also willing to do whatever it takes to win. He is very fond of his paint job, snarky, a pranker, quite rebellious and often cocky. Despite all this, he would do anything for his teammates in battle. On some occasions, he would wish his teammate would cut him some slack and stop pestering him about rules.

Sideswipe watches Strongarm point on the rules
In Pilot (Part 1), Sideswipe was driving around the Well of Allsparks when he encountered Strongarm who handcuffed him to her. Because of this, he was forced to accompany Strongarm as she followed Bumblebee to the Cybertron History Museum. Much to Sideswipe's boredom, he begged Strongarm to take him to jail. Sideswipe agreed to help fix the Space Bridge so that the trio could go to Earth. Strongarm followed Bumblebee with Sideswipe still handcuffed to her. Once they were on Earth, Sideswipe wasted no time leaving them when Bee blasted their cuffs. Sideswipe was echoing nearby a quarry where he encountered Russell Clay and then the sudden appearance of Underbite. Sideswipe helped Russell escape from Underbite and the pair came across Bumblebee and Strongarm. Bumblebee noted that Sideswipe already revealed himself to a human and Strongarm gently poked Russell on his face. The four of them escaped back to Fixit where Sideswipe, Strongarm and Bumblebee fought Underbite. They were easily dispatched in the fight.

In Pilot (Part 2), Sideswipe decided to follow Bumblebee to go after Underbite and Grimlock instead of staying with Fixit's chatter. When the team composed themselves together, Grimlock joined up with them in going after Underbite while Sideswipe remained with Russell. Sideswipe scanned an Earth-based vehicle form and took Russell to lure Underbite away with some bait. They successfully lured Underbite to the quarry where the team and Sideswipe tried to push Underbite in. However, they failed and watched in horror as Underbite began to crush Denny Clay in his truck. They were surprised when Optimus Prime tossed Underbite into the quarry and rescued Denny. Optimus complimented and gave Bumblebee and his team a speech about the dangers yet to come before disappearing. Sideswipe decided to stay on Bumblebee's team despite Strongarm first ordering him around. As the team squabble begins, Grimlock grabbed Sideswipe and Strongarm's shoulders to sing he was on probation.

In Trust Exercises, Sideswipe failed to catch Strongarm in their trust exercise test and sarcastically apologized since Strongarm failed to catch him three times in a row. Strongarm stated he was not falling correctly and they begin to slap each other around until Bumblebee stopped them when he arrived in Grimlock's arms. Sideswipe and Strongarm laughed at this and Bee told them that they must learn to trust each other in order to work as a team. Strongarm told Sideswipe that she trusted him to mess up and Sideswipe immediately began another fight. Fixit called them to come back to the scrapyard because he wanted to show them a signal. While Bumblebee and Grimlock paired up to investigate the signal, Sideswipe was forced to pair up with Strongarm. After a short argument, Sideswipe left Strongarm and told her that he will comm her if he finds anything. However, Sideswipe returned to the scrapyard where Fixit and Russell told him about Strongarm's disappearance. Sideswipe realized his error and told Fixit he will handle it. Sideswipe brought Russell where they came to an old ranger station. While driving further, Russell gave advice to Sideswipe about Strongarm not respecting him and that Sideswipe has to give respect in order to earn respect. They found Strongarm who was chained and held hostage by Steeljaw. Sideswipe stated he does not trust Steeljaw because he seemed too cool. Russell helped disguised Sideswipe by painting a Decepticon symbol on his chest and putting branches around his back. Sideswipe introduced himself as "Grimbee" to Steeljaw. While they were talking, Russell unchained Strongarm but Steeljaw knew and attacked Sideswipe. Sideswipe dodged his attack and Steeljaw chased him until Strongarm kicked Steeljaw into a tree which nearly collapsed on Russell. Strongarm saved Russell in time, though Steeljaw escaped in the process. Back at the scrapyard, Sideswipe and Strongarm explained to Bumblebee about Steeljaw and Bumblebee was impressed by their teamwork. Sideswipe felt unappreciated when Strongarm thanked Russell. However, when Sideswipe accidentally slipped on some mud, Strongarm caught him from the back and thanked him.
In More than Meets the Eye, Sideswipe helped take down and bring in Bisk. Back at the scrapyard, Fixit was feeling left out as Grimlock explained how Bisk was brought down. Sideswipe pointed out that Fixit did not seem fit for out in the field work. Later, Sideswipe aided the Autobots in hunting down Chop Shop but failed as Chop Shop was able to split himself into component parts and escape. Back at the base, Sideswipe discussed with the Autobots about Chop Shop and his motives which was trying to leave Earth. Fixit was brought along in this second attempt to capture Chop Shop but was taken as a replacement arm by Chop Shop. At Chop Shop's hideout, Sideswipe was impressed by the rocket Chop Shop had built. Sideswipe was knocked out by Chop Shop who was using Fixit to battle the Autobots. Sideswipe and the Autobots captured Chop Shop with the aid from Fixit. Sideswipe went with the Autobots to see Russell play football with the others kids and celebrated as Russell kicked a winning goal.
In W.W.O.D.?, Sideswipe had given Strongarm a wet willy in one of her audio receptors during the team's meeting discussion, which Strongarm promptly pinned Sideswipe to the ground until Bumblebee broke them up. Sideswipe attempted to climb up a pile of junk to tip over Strongarm, but his plan was stopped by Bumblebee, who got Strongarm out of the way and ended up being piled in the junk. Sideswipe, Strongarm, and Grimlock laughed when Bumblebee attempted to pull an Optimus impression but failed as Sideswipe stated it was "the worst Starscream imitation ever!" When a Decepticon's stasis pod was taken to the Crown City Museum, Sideswipe tagged along with the other Autobots to retrieve the stasis pod. Sideswipe and Strongarm continued to squabble, even when they were under a sheet Strongarm was wrapped under until Bumblebee removed the tarp. Inside the museum, the team splits up just before Bumblebee could finish his Optimus impression. Sideswipe found Russell and the Decepticon called Terrashock, who questioned Sideswipe on being the bot that Contrail sent Terrashock to beat up and soon smashed Sideswipe to the side. Sideswipe takes Russell in his vehicle mode outside of the museum where Bumblebee attempts to use his "Optimus" voice to tell the others of the Decepticon. In a hologram room, Sideswipe pounces on Terrashock like a cowboy riding an actual mechanical bull. However, Sideswipe was thrown against a wall as Terrashock managed to leave the museum. Later, Sideswipe joined up with Bumblebee and the others in pursuing Terrashock on a highway in their vehicle modes. They were able to steer Terrashock clear of humans and managed to capture him. With the unconscious Terrashock loaded onto Strongarm's trailer, the team rode off into the sunset like cowboys.
In As the Kospego Commands!, Sideswipe tricked Fixit into moving some stasis pods around. When Bumblebee saves Fixit from being crushed by a stasis pod, he goes to Sideswipe, who was listening to music in the distance. As Sideswipe was dancing to the music, Bumblebee takes his headphones off and gets sidetracked from telling Sideswipe off as he listens to the music, but soon gets his point across. After a bunch of humans came to get strange parts and Strongarm returned from salvaging a Decepticon Hunter from the Alchemor crash site, Sideswipe bickers with Strongarm that the device needs the user's thoughts in order to function properly, which Strongarm stated he was lucky that she was thinking about sunshine and rainbows. After the Autobots learned Thunderhoof was building a space bridge that could potentially cause a black hole that could destroy Earth, the team goes to protect a generator near the Crown River Dam. However, Sideswipe left his post and Grimlock alone as he stated he was going to scout the perimeter but was listening to music instead. Bumblebee and Strongarm find that Sideswipe left his post to listen and dance to his music, which Bumblebee reprimands him until they heard Grimlock being confronted by someone over the comms. They returned to find Grimlock was flattened and the generator was gone, which Bumblebee holds Sideswipe accountable for. Bumblebee, seemingly lost his trust in Sideswipe, goes with Sideswipe to find a bunch of humans building a space bridge. Sideswipe comes up with a plan that he and Bumblebee disguised themselves with branches and pretended to be legendary creatures called "Sideswingo" and "Bumbeego" as Sideswipe kicked down a tree as a warning to the humans to leave the area. Sideswipe appeared to be enthusiastic about helping Thunderhoof use the space bridge he'd built to return to Cybertron but ended up helping Bumblebee destroy the space bridge when it threatened to create a black hole and destroy Earth. He regained Bumblebee's trust as they fist bumped each other.
In Collect 'Em All, Sideswipe was teamed with Strongarm to search for the Decepticon Filch, and became increasingly annoyed with her sticking to the rulebook. After Sideswipe helped hold up a bridge, and saved Denny from atop a huge statue, he was able to render Filch unconscious by throwing a bridge beam at her head. They head back to the scrapyard with Filch as they sneaked past Larry LaRue.
In True Colors, when Grimlock appeared to turn on the other Autobots and stole Underbite's stasis pod, Sideswipe and Russell both believed he was being coerced into it. After the team nearly survived a trap that Grimlock had set and tracked Grimlock to the Crown River Dam. Sideswipe escaped from Grimlock's grip and fought Steeljaw as he demanded that the latter stops whatever is controlling Grimlock. However, Sideswipe had to save Strongarm and Bumblebee from Grimlock's wrath while Steeljaw escape with Underbite's stasis pod. As it turned out when Grimlock was secured, Sideswipe was correct and Grimlock was under the control of the Decepticon named Minitron, who Fixit informed to the Autobots through the comm systems he fixed. They found Minitron and after a few times of being controlled by the mini bug, he was captured. Back at the scrapyard, Grimlock happily hugged Sideswipe and Russell around.
In Rumble in the Jungle, while Bumblebee and Strongarm were away on a mission, Sideswipe and Grimlock got to be spectators for a feud between Fixit and Denny. They worked with Russell when the feud between Fixit and Denny became to interfere with them. They had rigged the Decepticon Hunter with a kazoo which proved useful in patching things up between them. As Fixit and Denny agree to make more Decepticon Hunters, Sideswipe and Grimlock fist bump with Russell.
In Can You Dig It?, when Jazz visited the scrapyard, Sideswipe encountered him and admired his take down when Jazz thought he was trouble but helped Sideswipe up when Bumblebee cleared things up with Jazz. Sideswipe began to see Jazz as a role model and attempted to get tips from him. When Ped attacked the scrapyard, Sideswipe attempted to fight him but ended up being zapped by his mandibles instead, which Fixit had explained when Sideswipe had landed by him. Ped had escaped with some of the Energon that the Autobots had stored and they went to go after him. Sideswipe hunted Ped with Jazz, which he talked with Jazz and was given some advice from him. Ped found them in his area where he stored his stolen Energon cubes and used Sideswipe as a hostage. However, Jazz was able to save Sideswipe even when Ped escaped with the Energon as a cave in collapsed in the area they were in. While Sideswipe was feeling a lot of disbelief in himself, Jazz gave him some more advice before they headed back to the scrapyard. Later as the Autobots planned an attempt to lure Ped into a stasis pod, they were caught in a hole, which Sideswipe was soon able to escape from, having learned from Jazz. He fought Ped and was successful in luring Ped away from Jazz. As he battled Ped in the stasis pod, Jazz had joined him and they both were able to get Ped in long enough for Denny to knock the Decepticon unconscious with his electromagnet. Sideswipe and Jazz shared a farewell/lesson learned moment before Jazz left the scrapyard. Strongarm even teased Sideswipe for finding a role model like Jazz.
In Adventures in Bumblebee-Sitting!, during an attempt to capture Quillfire, Bumblebee was hit with toxin, regressing to immaturity. Sideswipe disliked the fact Strongarm made herself temporary team leader and liked this new prank-pulling version of Bumblebee, as he fell victim to hitting a tripwire and getting a load of bolts flung at him. Subsequently, Strongarm left him and Russell to babysit Bumblebee, which Sideswipe was annoyed when Bumblebee splashed some mud on him. Sideswipe and Russell then managed to get Bumblebee into watching a movie with them, which eventually made Sideswipe cry. With Sideswipe and Russell not watching Bumblebee, the Autobot escaped from their sights and Strongarm was not pleased upon learning Bumblebee had followed her and Grimlock to the circus.
In Hunting Season, when Drift and Fracture came to Earth to collect the bounty on Bumblebee, Sideswipe backed up Drift and was appalled that Drift had insulted them when they returned to the scrapyard with him. Later, Sideswipe fought but ended up captured by Fracture as he was use as a ransom along with the other Autobots. However, with the help with Drift's Mini-Cons who took over Fracture's ship, the Autobots managed to defeat Fracture, despite him escaping in the process. Sideswipe and Strongarm learned that Drift does not desire to claim the bounty on Bumblebee anymore.
In Out of Focus, Sideswipe continued to bicker with Strongarm, even as the team hunted the Skunkticon gang led by Malodor through the Crown River Dam, hampering the chase at several points, even fooling around. The Skunkticons had sprayed the Autobots and Grimlock was captured by Malodor and his gang. The Autobots managed to reach to the Dam's control room where they battled Malodor and his men. Eventually, after Sideswipe, Strongarm, and Grimlock recovered from being sprayed, they went with Bumblebee as they chased the Skunkticons further down the tunnels. They managed to catch up with them and in a well planned attack, they managed to take them out.
In Sideways, after discovering that Strongarm had been sneaking off the base, Sideswipe blackmailed her into doing undesirable jobs for him. After they tangled with Steeljaw's gang, Bumblebee revealed he already knew about Strongarm sneaking out, and Strongarm revealed she had been using a nearby carwash.
In Even Robots Have Nightmares, during a horror movie watchthrough, Sideswipe, Strongarm and Grimlock tried to scare Russell to no avail. On a mission to track down a Decepticon in a cave, the team were captured by Nightstrike, who caused them to live out their worst fears. Sideswipe's involved being stuck in traffic and being compacted with no room to move. However, with the aid from Russell, Denny, and one of Chop Shop's bots, the Autobots were able to break free from their cocoons and captured Nightstrike as they placed him in stasis pod back at the scrapyard.
In Some Body, Any Body, during a mission in the subways, Sideswipe was captured by Vertebreak, who removed Sideswipe's head so he could graft his own head to Sideswipe's body. While Vertebreak tested out Sideswipe's capabilities on the rest of the team, Bumblebee and Fixit found Sideswipe's head. With Sideswipe's instructions, the team were able to overcome Vertebreak, and Fixit reunited Sideswipe's body and head, though afterwards Sideswipe found himself unable to transform and needed some more work done on him which Sideswipe was left to hear Fixit's constant chatter.
In One of Our Mini-Cons Is Missing, after Drift and his Mini-Cons returned to earth, they joined Sideswipe and the rest of the team in recapturing Quillfire and Springload. On the mission, Sideswipe saved Russell and Denny from being crushed by rocks but got hit by a rock. He was functional and resumed the mission with the team in taking down the pair of Decepticons in the tank. They were successful and captured the pair as Drift and his Mini-Cons decided to stay on their team.
In Deep Trouble, the team traveled to an undersea derelict spacecraft with the aim of capturing Octopunch. During the mission, Sideswipe led the team to evade some guns being shot at them from outside of the ship. When they got inside, they were soon divided as Sideswipe became trapped in a room with Drift, Jetstorm and Slipstream, whose meditating drove him nuts though he did went along with it until they were able to escape with the Autobots. Sideswipe and Strongarm helped Grimlock by taking his place to carry an incapacitated Octopunch back to base as they escaped the ship before it exploded.
In The Champ, when Groundpounder and Headlock were sighted at the Rumbledome, Sideswipe was among the team members who attempted to GroundBridge there and instead ended up hundreds of miles away. By the time they drove back, the Decepticons had been defeated and they witnessed as Russell gives Grimlock and Fixit the winner's trophy.
In The Trouble with Fixit, after having a run-in with a bear with Drift's Mini-Cons in a search for Fixit, Sideswipe thanked the Mini-Cons as they found Fixit. Sideswipe knocks Fixit out of his vocal rut and they take him back to base. Sideswipe motioned with the others in getting Fixit fixed. However, after ailing Fixit goes wrong, Sideswipe joined the rest of the team in contending with an overpowered Fixit when the Mini-Con's guard programs reactivated. Sideswipe and Grimlock saw Chop Shop attempting to escape and tried to get the Decepticon. Later, Sideswipe joined with the others in a dogpile on Fixit as Denny was able to deactivate the Mini-Con. They watched and were relieved Fixit went back to his "normal" state.
In Lockout, Sideswipe along with other Autobots helped Denny move and build a rollercoaster near the scrapyard. Later, Sideswipe and the other Autobots found Kickback being used as bait and soon found themselves trapped outside their own base after Steeljaw's team moved in to set up a subsonic field to keep them out. As the Autobots made several attempts to get inside the scrapyard, Sideswipe, Strongarm and Grimlock created diversions in the plan to get control over the scrapyard while the Mini-Cons were sneaked in to deactivate the field. When it worked, Sideswipe went with the others to fight the Decepticons as he was able to fight and take down Sideswipe then backed up Drift in his fight against Fracture. After getting the Decepticons out, the Autobots were able to retake the scrapyard with the aid from their human allies.
In Similarly Different, Sideswipe took part in the pursuit and capture of Scowl in two unsuccessful missions which included being knocked over by a tree by Scowl and holding a train to reroute it from falling after Scowl destroyed the some of the tracks. Though Sideswipe's method of clearing a resort spa by claiming there was a wild kangaroo loose left a lot to be desired as Bumblebee remarked. They were able to capture Scowl with Grimlock's help and returned to the scrapyard where they noticed their human allies and Fixit dancing.
In The Buzz on Windblade, after blowing off another of Strongarm's briefings, Sideswipe encountered Windblade and was taken with the new arrival as he carried Fancyclaws back to the scrapyard with her. He had the opportunity to pull off some slick moves to impress her during a mission to take down Zizza along with Strongarm's plan and aid. However, he was disappointed when Windblade opted not to stick around afterwards. He even shocked Strongarm by complimenting her.
In Ghosts and Impostors, humoring Bumblebee who claimed there were nice places to visit on Earth, Sideswipe and the other Autobots found themselves in the ghost town of Edmondville, where they ended up scaring some tourists through some scare antics. They soon discovered a Decepticon named Pseudo was there as well and went to capture the Decepticon. After a few attempts that led through a chase, they were able to capture the shape shifter while they made some positives about Earth to Bee and watched a sunset near the horizon.
In Battlegrounds, Part 1, while on a training mission with Strongarm, he is tagged by her but then tags her back before he ran and was soon captured by Thunderhoof and Underbite. Sideswipe and Strongarm were unconscious by the Decepticons as they brought them back to Steeljaw at the steel mill. Sideswipe, Strongarm and Windblade ended up chained to the huge statue outside Crown City, as it was used as an energy sink as Megatronus was drawn across the dimensional barrier.
In Battlegrounds, Part 2, Sideswipe sees Windblade breaking free from her restraints as she explains that she was going to prevent Megatronus from obtaining his staff. Drift freed Sideswipe and Strongarm but they were all taken out by Steeljaw's pack. After Optimus joined the fight in Megatronus, they were able to take down Steeljaw's team as Sideswipe and Strongarm discovered that when their Decepticon Hunters touched, it created a power that made Sideswipe feel like he could take on the univers then they both took out Thunderhoof together. After the Autobots discovered that their Decepticon Hunters combined gave them a huge power up that upgraded them with armor and power, Sideswipe helped in a plan to drop the arm of the statue on Megatronus. Then he joined with Bumblebee and Strongarm to help Optimus fight the Decepticon in battle. As Megatronus was holding the statue's arm, Sideswipe, Bumblebee, and Strongarm blasted him into nothing. Back at the scarpyard as the Decepticons (minus Steeljaw) were placed in stasis pods, Sideswipe opted to stay on Earth as someone needed to keep Strongarm in line.
Season 2[]
In Overloaded, Part 1, while watching Denny and Fixit play Go Fish, Sideswipe was told on by Optimus after referring to him as "pops" and then got into another fight with Strongarm. When Bumblebee assigned Drift and Windblade to hunt Decepticons far from the scrapyard, Sideswipe insisted on joining that team, which they called themselves the Away team. However, on their first mission to the Arctic, they found themselves having to cope with an Optimus Prime weakened by having the power of the Primes removed.
In Overloaded, Part 2, after saving Optimus from falling off the mountain and despite his misgivings about Optimus, Sideswipe himself was injured during an avalanche that the Away team managed to survive. Optimus showed the team a trick of scanning camouflage which they all scanned and were impressed by the results (which Sideswipe was somewhat suited with). However, after sneaking into Polarclaw's cave, Sideswipe jeopardize the mission when he accidentally alerted Polarclaw to their presence. After Optimus came up with a plan that successfully led to the Decepticon's capture, which Sideswipe was able to drag Polarclaw underwater to reveal Polarclaw could not use his sonic roar in water, Sideswipe admitted he'd been wrong about Prime's effectiveness even when Optimus asked if Sideswipe required assistance.
In Cover Me, although he sported a new desert-themed paint job, Sideswipe continued to drive the other Autobots batty with his ceaseless chattering, even as they hunted another Decepticon. Though after a run in with Swelter and Glacius, he succeeded in rescuing Windblade after she fell into a river. Later the Autobots came to an abandoned military base where Sideswipe and Drift were soon trapped in a metal cocoon by Swelter and Glacius. Though when Optimus and Windblade found them as they attempted to get the out, Drift stated they should take their time as the cocoon as given him a relief from Sideswipe's chatter. Sideswipe on the other hand was left in the cocoon covered from his face which prevented him from speaking out loud to Windblade.
In Graduation Exercises, Sideswipe increasingly encouraged Jetstorm and Slipstream to get more respect from Drift but failed to convince Drift. Investigating possible interference with one of Windblade's caches, Sideswipe fell victim to being zapped by the force field that protected Windblade's cache. After checking on the cache, Optimus's team soon found themselves up against Stockade and his army of Mini-Cons. After narrowly escaping Stockade's army, Sideswipe found himself locked in an armory with Drift's Mini-Cons. They revealed to Sideswipe that they caused Drift to be in danger. Sideswipe gives them some advise, which he also gave them an idea. Sideswipe was able to bluff Stockade into getting some of his troops to Sideswipe's location. Sideswipe locked two of Stockade's troops in the room while he revealed that Jestorm and Slipstream were on linked with him. The trio managed to fight and defeat Stockade's troops and they went to aid the rest of the team. Sideswipe was able to help Optimus and Windblade get out of the bunker that they were trapped in. They managed to arrive in time to fight Stockade and his troops. Sideswipe used Jetstorm and Slipstream to knock down Stockade to the floor, thus defeating the Decepticon general. Sideswipe witnessed as Grimlock came to assist in helping Drift back to the scrapyard which Optimus announced it was time for them to go home.
In Decepticon Island (Part 1), after a chance encounter resulted in Ratchet joining the team, the team returned to the scrapyard as Bumblebee ordered Drift and Sideswipe to wake up Clampdown for his interrogation. Although Strongarm and Windblade took Sideswipe's questions as he pointed out to Clampdown, the Decepticon immediately faints. The Autobots got a lead to the location of the group of Decepticons with the escaped Mini-Con Toolbox, who provided the team information regarding the Decepticons on the island. As the Autobots put their plan together, Sideswipe stated the awkward moment when Bumblebee and Optimus begin to dispute. Later, the Autobots used a ruse to infiltrate the crashed Alchemor which the Decepticons were using as a base, but were ambushed soon after getting inside.
In Decepticon Island (Part 2), as Windblade provides time for the Autobots to escape, the Autobots split up. Together with Strongarm and Grimlock, Sideswipe went with them in search of a way to free the captive Mini-Cons. They ended up in a communications room where they soon tangled with Groundpounder and Thunderhoof. Thunderhoof struck down Sideswipe and Strongarm while Grimlock was having trouble fighting Groundpounder. Sideswipe and Strongarm were being tossed about on the floor as Thunderhoof stomps the ground. Strongarm was able to kick Sideswipe near the console where Sideswipe incapacitated Thunderhoof and Groundpounder with a signal. After using the communications equipment to free the Mini-Cons, the trio escaped the ship before the cryo-gas bomb froze everyone aboard. Sideswipe remains with Bee's team as they headed back to the scrapyard.
Season 2 1/2[]
In History Lessons, Bumblebee took his team on a tour of interesting locations on Earth, culminating in them visiting the remains of Autobot Outpost Omega One, only to find a strange bomb had been set up to detonate. Thrilled to finally have some excitement, Sideswipe fought Paralon and Buzzstrike, managing to recover a weapon they'd found, though the pair themselves escaped. As a bonus, Sideswipe also found Bumblebee's old diary, which included an exercise video, which Sideswipe showed the others before driving off with it while Bumblebee chases him.
In Strongarm´s Big Score, while following a training exercise that went wrong, Sideswipe saved Strongarm from the simulated Thunderhoof and he was amused to find out that he had a higher PASERQuAT score than Strongarm. The team was split up to investigate sites of Cybertronian significance on Earth, with Sideswipe going to South America, until they were all bridged back to the scrapyard because Denny and Russell didn't know what they were doing.
In Pretzel Logic, while cntinuing the search for relics on Earth, Bumblebee and Sideswipe ended up in a desert as they contacted Fixit from the command center along with the rest of the team. They later joined Grimlock when the Dinobot encountered Thermidor and Tricerashot. However, during the short brawl and pursuit for Thermidor and Tricerashot, Sideswipe and Strongarm attempted to put aside their conflict and work together, which they both ended up crashing into each other. Strongarm suggested that they go back to arguing and Sideswipe agreed. Sideswipe along with the other team members praised Grimlock for recovering the relic from the Decepticon and his Mini-Con partner.
In Mighty Big Trouble, after the team retrieved a high energy pulse generator from Egypt, Sideswipe destroyed the device when Jetstorm and Slipstream accidentally triggered it. The Mini-Cons became annoyed at his jokes at their expense, and Sideswipe was forced to try to find a way to apologize. However, he missed his chance due to the three Mini-Cons being abducted by Starscream, who then used them as leverage to capture Bumblebee.
In Mini-Con Madness, as they are joined by Optimus, the team split up to search for Starscream. Sideswipe and Strongarm stumbled on the Weaponizer Mini-Cons, and the initial hostilities were brought to an end when the Mini-Cons recognized Optimus. A short time later, they ran into the Scavengers, and then during the fight with them, the Mini-Cons were captured by Starscream.
In Worthy, after the Scavengers were defeated, the team located Starscream's ship, and during the ensuing battle, Sideswipe took a shot at from Roughedge which was meant for Jetstorm and Slipstream. He was later able to recover and distract Starscream while the three Mini-Cons found a way to separate the Weaponizer Mini-Cons from the Decepticon, and ultimately Starscream was defeated. Sideswipe later attempted to apologize to the trio, though they believed his earlier actions apology enough, and Jetstorm and Slipstream opted to team up with Sideswipe for a while.
Season 3[]
In King of the Hill (Part 1), while being bored with endless sparring with Strongarm, Sideswipe finally got the action he craved when he and Strongarm were sent to investigate a Decepticon signal. After attempting to capture Heatseeker themselves, they were forced to call in the rest of the team when the Stunticon endangered a nuclear waste disposal site.
In King of the Hill (Part 2), the pair were assigned the task of getting a hermit to vacate the danger zone, which they accomplished before rejoining the rest of the team. An explosion resulted in the entire team being merged into one robot while unconscious and ultimately Heatseeker got away.
In Defrosted, the Autobots' next mission took them to Antarctica, where they had to recapture Crustacion after the Decepticon was freed from one of Windblade's caches. Sideswipe and Strongarm worked to rescue the humans at a base while the rest of the team caught the Con.
In Blurred, when a stricken plane endangered another cache, Sideswipe's failure to stop it resulted in him having to be rescued by Rescue Bot Blurr. Sideswipe's paranoia that Blurr was out to take his spot on the team resulted in Ragebyte escaping, and Sideswipe took off in an attempt to prove himself. With Blurr tagging along, he managed to track down Ragebyte and defeat the Decepticon, at which point Bumblebee suggested he take on Blurr as a temporary intern. After getting along with Blurr, Sideswipe grew a friendship with him as the intern of the team.
In Sphere of Influence, Sideswipe, along with the rest of the team, found themselves coveting the Sphere of Doradus, thanks to the strange energies it gave off, and had to resist it long enough to capture Springload.
In Bee Cool, Sideswipe and Blurr took part in a mission to capture the Decepticons Dragstrip and Wildbreak, though they had to put up with Bumblebee's jealousy of their innate coolness. In the end, Bumblebee proved to Sideswipe he was as cool when they saved the weapons and when he boldly saved the two stunticons who escaped. Bumblebee and Sideswipe did their own handshake.
In The Great Divide, after another impromptu combination occurred while the Autobots were chasing Drag Strip, Sideswipe was somehow split into two versions of himself — one confident and one with no confidence. His two sides were at odds with each other as the team tried to track down Drag Strip, until the wimpier version saved the confident version from falling rubble, and the pair worked together to take down the Con. Fixit subsequently came up with a way to merge the pair back into one Sideswipe.
In Get a Clue, Strongarm's work in tracking down three Decepticon brothers led Sideswipe to do the unthinkable and apologize for doubting her judgment.
In Out of the Shadows, Grimlock and Sideswipe were temporarily fused together during another of Fixit's combiner experiments. They and the rest of the team helped Drift recover his two Mini-Cons students after they were kidnapped by the Decepticon Shadow Raker.
In Disordered Personalities, another of Fixit's combiner experiments led to the Autobots temporarily switching bodies. Stuck as Strongarm, Sideswipe faced tremendous hardship trying to control her sirens and lights, but eventually used them to his advantage while fighting the Stunticons during the subsequent road race mission.
Transformers: Rescue Bots[]
Sideswipe only seen in The Need for Speed. When Cyclone Mini-Con Bounce was free he tried to capture it in Griffin Rock. And when he met Rescue Bots and Burns Family they offered to help him to arrest Bounce.
Personality and Traits[]
Sideswipe is a rebellious, carefree, wild, and a hot-headed teenage Cybertronian. He doesn't like to follow rules and would go off on his own. He also likes to play tricks, much to Strongarm's chagrin. He also seems to have a flair for flashy vehicles, as evidenced by his choice of Earth vehicle mode. Sideswipe is a lot like Smokescreen and Knock Out. Sideswipe possess Smokescreen's traits, such as hot-headedness and a jokester. As for Knock Out's traits, Sideswipe would often call himself handsome and would dance around while listening to some music when he is alone. He also has a slightly manipulative streak as seen by the way he blackmailed Strongarm in Sideways.
Despite these flaws, Sideswipe can be helpful and kind. Upon meeting Russell and discovering Underbite for the first time, he stepped in front of the human and followed him when he ran off in order to keep him safe from the Chompazoid. Sideswipe also aided Bumblebee when he needed him to restart the spacebridge on Cybertron and also saved Bee from nearly being crushed in a garbage compactor by Steeljaw in Sideways. Sideswipe cares for his friends and would not hesitate to fight by their side in any combat. And also like Smokescreen Sideswipe can back up his tough talk, he is willing to place strategy above bravado.

Bumblebee[]
Sideswipe met up with Bumblebee when he was handcuffed to Strongarm and forced to follow Bumblebee to the Cybertron History Museum. Sideswipe worked on the Space Bridge and followed Bumblebee to Earth. Bumblebee destroyed Sideswipe and Strongarm's cuffs, which Sideswipe left them. Bumblebee was not amused when Sideswipe had revealed himself to Russell Clay.
Sideswipe joined Bee's team to stop Underbite from devouring Crown City. Their mission was successful when Optimus Prime tossed Underbite into the quarry and complimented them before vanishing.
In Trust Exercises, Bumblebee assigned Sideswipe and Strongarm to work together. He was pleased to hear that they worked together well when they gave a report about Steeljaw to him.
In As the Kospego Commands!, Sideswipe's loyalty to the team was questioned when Bumblebee discovered Sideswipe did not help Fixit move some stasis pods around the Scrapyard. When Bumblebee ordered Sideswipe and Grimlock to guard the generator, Sideswipe insisted on scouting the perimeter while Grimlock was left unconscious by Thunderhoof. Bumblebee was disappointed at Sideswipe for leaving his post and leaving Grimlock alone. To an extent, Sideswipe even tried to trick Thunderhoof by pretending to feel tired about Bumblebee and his rules. Even though Thunderhoof knew it was a trick, the plan worked when Thunderhoof was knocked into the Space Bridge. Bumblebee told Sideswipe that he made him worried and Sideswipe told him that he was on a team despite it does not seem like it at times. They gave each other a fist bump as a sign of trust and friendship.
In the ending of Battlegrounds, Part 2, Sideswipe assists Bumblebee through missions in capturing Decepticons and he decided to stay on Bee's team
Bumblebee and Sideswipe have a respectable and caring friendship. Bumblebee acts like an older adult figure to Sideswipe. Their relationship is like a "son-in-law" to father bond.
Strongarm[]

Sideswipe met Strongarm when he was handcuffed to her in Pilot (Part 1). Sideswipe argued with Strongarm several times and even told her that he would rather go to jail instead of being in the Cybertron museum. When the pair followed Bumblebee to Earth, Sideswipe ditched Strongarm and Bumblebee when Bee shot their handcuffs off. After they met up with Fixit, Russell Clay, Denny Clay, and Grimlock, they were all on a mission to save Crown City from Underbite. This mission was successful when Optimus Prime helped them deal with Underbite and gave them a compliment. However, Sideswipe and Strongarm continue to argue with each other on occasions and would get into minor playful fights.

In Trust Exercises, Sideswipe had failed to catch Strongarm when she fell in their trust exercise test, even stating that she failed to catch him three times in a row. The pair started to harmlessly fight until Bumblebee broke it up. When Sideswipe was paired to go with Strongarm to look for Decepticon fugitives, he went his own way and left Strongarm to get captured by Steeljaw. Russell disguised Sideswipe to distract Steeljaw while he unlocks Strongarm from her chains. The plan worked but Steeljaw managed to escape. Back at the scrapyard, Sideswipe and Strongarm told Bumblebee about Steeljaw. Bumblebee complimented them for their teamwork. Sideswipe also seemed it was unfair for Strongarm to thank Russell and not him. As he walked, he accidently slips on some mud though Strongarm caught Sideswipe. She thanked him and told him not to get cocky.
In W.W.O.D.?, Sideswipe gave Strongarm a wet willy in one of her audio receptors, to which Strongarm tackled Sideswipe to the ground until Bumblebee broke them up. He also nearly toppled over a pile of pinball machines onto her. This may have been him spying on her or maybe even attempting to play.
In As the Kospego Commands!, Strongarm was shocked when Bumblebee told her to carry Grimlock back to base instead of telling Sideswipe to do it.
In Collect 'Em All, Sideswipe and Strongarm bicker when Sideswipe tells and notices she has been going so much about the rules. During their mission on rescuing Denny from Filch, Sideswipe told himself that he will never understand Strongarm's ways as he climbed up the statue to rescue Denny.
In Can You Dig It?, Strongarm teased Sideswipe on finding a role model like Jazz.
In Adventures in Bumblebee-Sitting!, Sideswipe did not vote on Strongarm acting as substitute commander. Sideswipe laughed at Strongarm when she was covered in fire extinguisher foam. In Hunting Season, Sideswipe stood up for Strongarm to Drift when he stated some appalling things.
In Out of Focus, Sideswipe and Strongarm both started their infighting as they were going to the Crown River Dam. They were able to work together to bring down the Skunkticons.
In Sideways, Sideswipe found Strongarm sneaking back into the base and promised to keep her little secret. Sideswipe exercised his blackmail over Strongarm by letting her go down the worst sewage tunnel and by letting her cuff both Thunderhoof and Clampdown. When Strongarm was fed up with it, she refuses to do Sideswipe's patrol duty and Bumblebee revealed that he knew Strongarm was sneaking out of the base and punishes Sideswipe by making him do double patrol shifts.
In Even Robots Have Nightmares, Strongarm reveals Sideswipe's nightmare of getting stuck in traffic.
In Some Body, Any Body, Strongarm reveals that she finds Sideswipe's laugh to be annoying. Strongarm was surprised to see Sideswipe as a floating head in a jar. She carried him and caught him when Grimlock passed the jar to her. When Fixit reattached Sideswipe's head to his body, Sideswipe whispers to himself about Strongarm. Strongarm seemed concerned and went closer to Sideswipe to ask him what he said. Sideswipe revealed it was a prank and Strongarm soon challenged him to a race back to the scrapyard. Sideswipe agreed to it but lost immediately when he couldn't transform as Fixit stated there are some things that need to be fixed.
In The Buzz on Windblade, Sideswipe brings Windblade back to the scrapyard where she immediately begins making friends with Bumblebee and his team, much to Strongarm's dismay. When Strongarm refers to Windblade as "Windbag" to Sideswipe, he was drawn affections for Windblade, which Strongarm crossed her arms. This would show Strongarm may have envious feelings with Sideswipe appealing to Windblade over her. However, Strongarm makes amends with Windblade when Windblade leaves in the end of the episode. Sideswipe also complimented Strongarm, where it left Strongarm to question if she heard a genuine compliment from her comrade.
In Overloaded, Part 1, Sideswipe and Strongarm began fighting again in front of Optimus and the others. Bumblebee had to get Grimlock to break up their fight.
In Cover Me, Sideswipe annoyed his teammates by constantly bringing up a story of how he tricked Strongarm into believing that he could time travel.
In Decepticon Island (Part 2), Strongarm reveals that she would feel like a "basket case" if Sideswipe was taken as prisoner to Sideswipe. Throughout the episode, Sideswipe and Strongarm seem to form a well respected and caring friendship as they managed to defeat the Decepticons and free the enslaved Mini-Cons.
Sideswipe seems to have a rivalry with Strongarm at times. They both would fight or tease each other on occasions. Despite this, they do get along well. Sideswipe would often make Strongarm laugh by telling jokes or pulling funny tricks that doesn't involve her. As a teammate and friend, Strongarm cares about Sideswipe's well being and would often chat or hang with him. While it is hinted in few moments of their interaction, Strongarm may possibly have hidden feelings for Sideswipe but it's currently unknown.
Fixit[]
Fixit and Sideswipe met in Pilot (Part 1). While not interested in Fixit's constant blabbering, Sideswipe left to help Bumblebee in Pilot (Part 2).
Sideswipe seemed to treat Fixit with little respect and would even trick Fixit into carrying big stasis pods by himself in As the Kospego Commands!.
In Rumble in the Jungle, Sideswipe was involved in having fun and settling a feud between Fixit and Denny Clay.
In Can You Dig It?, Sideswipe lifted Fixit to reach on top of the sink hole but Fixit could not reach.
In Even Robots Have Nightmares, Sideswipe freed Fixit from his cocoon.
In Some Body, Any Body, Fixit was successful in reattaching Sideswipe's head but when Sideswipe couldn't transform to race with Strongarm, Fixit informed him that there were some wires needed to be hooked up right. Fixit volunteered to company Sideswipe on the way to base and began blabbering on how he reattached Sideswipe's head.
Fixit's chatter would annoy Sideswipe at times. However, Fixit is one of Sideswipe's closest friends and teammate.
Grimlock[]
Sideswipe met Grimlock in Pilot (Part 2).
In More than Meets the Eye, Sideswipe and Grimlock fought against Bisk.
In True Colors, Sideswipe believed Grimlock was being coerced into attacking the team and stole a stasis pod containing Underbite. It was true as Minitron was controlling Grimlock and Grimlock defeated him. When Bumblebee made Grimlock an official Autobot, Grimlock was overjoyed and happily hugged Sideswipe and Russell.
In Rumble in the Jungle, Sideswipe and Grimlock fist bumped with Russell when they settled a feud between Fixit and Denny.
Sideswipe would hang out with Grimlock most times and they would team up against any Decepticon fugitive that comes in there way.
Grimlock and Sideswipe remain close friends on the team, almost like brothers in a way.
Russell Clay[]
Sideswipe met Russell in Pilot (Part 1) unexpectedly in a quarry followed by Underbite. The pair drove away from Underbite which Sideswipe's transformation into his car mode impressed Russell.
In Pilot (Part 2), Sideswipe showed Russell his new car form and went with Russell to lure Underbite near the quarry.
In Trust Exercises, Russell gave Sideswipe advice on respect when Sideswipe was not getting along with Strongarm well. When Strongarm caught Sideswipe after he slipped on some mud, Russell observed that the pair would work well together.
In W.W.O.D.?, Sideswipe drove Russell out of the museum after an attack by Terrashock.
In True Colors, Russell and Sideswipe knew that Grimlock was not turning against the team and that he was being controlled by Minitron. Grimlock was made an official Autobot by Bumblebee and he happily hugged Sideswipe and Russell much to their horror.
In Rumble in the Jungle, Russell, Sideswipe and Grimlock patched things up with a feud between Fixit and Denny Clay.
Sideswipe and Russell remain good friends. They hang out, care for one another and are part of their team, much like how Smokescreen was with Jack Darby.
Denny Clay[]
Sideswipe and Denny have a stable relationship. They both respect, care, and watch over one another as teammates and friends. Since Denny is another adult figure besides Bumblebee, Drift, and Optimus, Denny acts like an older family figure to Sideswipe.
Drift[]
Drift's harshness towards Bumblebee's team on his first meeting with them offended Sideswipe since Drift insulted him and the other Autobots. However, both Drift and Sideswipe seem to reconcile their relationship after Drift came to Earth the second time to search for Jetstorm, which Drift decided to stay on Earth with Bee's team. Sideswipe welcomed Drift and his Mini-cons to the team.
In Deep Trouble, Sideswipe, Drift, Slipstream, and Jetstrom were trapped in between walls in the ship that Octopunch attempted to escape in. Drift and his pupils seemed to rely on meditation, much to Sideswipe's argument. Drift attempts to explain to Sideswipe but gets cut off everytime one of his pupils distract themselves from their meditation. Drift was able to explain to Sideswipe about having a peaceful time to think about solutions to their conflict. Sideswipe decided to meditate with them, only to twtich a few seconds after and get scolded on by Drift, which Sideswipe apologized for.
Drift appears to respect, care, and act like another adult figure to Sideswipe. They are both friends and teammates.
Jetstorm and Slipstream[]

Sideswipe was not seen to interact with neither Jetstorm and Slipstream on their first meeting. However, they have started to bond after Drift came back to Earth with his pupils and remained on Bee's team.
In Deep Trouble, Sideswipe, Drift, Slipstream, and Jetstorm were trapped between walls in the ship. Sideswipe sat behind Slipstream and Jetstorm to meditate with them and Drift.
In Graduation Exercises, as Sideswipe gave Jetstorm and Slipstream advice as their current positions as Drift's students, he also gave them an idea that enabled them to defeat Stockade and his Mini-Con troops.
Sideswipe appears to be more like an older brother to both Slipstream and Jetstorm.
Windblade[]
Sideswipe met Windblade in The Buzz on Windblade. Upon their first, Sideswipe was covered in mud by Windblade after she used her alt flying mode to fight Razorpaw. After the fight, Windblade assume Sideswipe was another Decepticon but helped him up when she we saw his Autobot symbol. Sideswipe brings Windblade and Razorpaw back to the scrapyard. When Windblade, finished telling the Autobots her story, Sideswipe became more interested in her by referring her as "awesome" to Strongarm. Sideswipe immediately goes with Windblade in a mission at a human airfield where they secretly talked with each other while Strongarm watched in the back of them with Grimlock. Sideswipe and Windblade worked together in Strongarm's plan of defeating Zizza and unharmfully taking her human hypnotized pilots. They also teamed up alongside Strongarm in bringing Zizza down. After everything goes back to normal at the airfield, Windblade decides to leave. Much to Sideswipe's pleading for her to stay, Windblade informs him that her next con is waiting out there.
In Battlegrounds, Part 2, Sideswipe seemed to look in a dazed as he watched Windblade as she flies with Drift and his Mini-cons to the statue's arm in order to defeat Megatronus.
In Overloaded, Part 1, Windblade showed disapproval on Sideswipe when he insulted Optimus and told him she would snap him in two if he didn't stop. Sideswipe, Windblade, Drift, Drift's Mini-Cons, and Optimus became a team as they were named as the "away team". While on their first mission to the Arctic, it became rough as they had to save Optimus from falling off the mountain, which Sideswipe argued with Windblade about Optimus slowing their team down.
However, in Overloaded, Part 2, Windblade noticed that Sideswipe's left wheel was squeaking and stated the cold must of been the cause of it.
In Cover Me, Sideswipe rescued Windblade from a waterfall.
In the ending of Decepticon Island (Part 2), Sideswipe and Windblade exchange their goodbyes.
Sideswipe seems to have strong affections towards Windblade. He seems to enjoy her company when she's around and doesn't seem to mind when she calls him "slick". He also appears to admire Windblade more than he first met her.
Optimus Prime[]
Sideswipe appears to have respect for Optimus Prime. He appeared humbled when Optimus complemented Bumblebee's choice for a team in Pilot (Part 2). After the events in Battlegrounds, Part 2, Optimus stayed with the team as shown in Overloaded, Part 1 where Sideswipe was getting annoyed by Strongarm's urge for Optimus to tell another one of his war stories. Sideswipe referred to Optimus as "pops" which provoked Optimus to put Sideswipe in his place and to refer him as such. When the "Away team" was formed, Sideswipe was less than moved when he believed Optimus was slowing their team down even after they saved Optimus from falling off a cliff. During the mission to capture Polarclaw, Optimus showed his team a trick of scanning a vehicle for its color characteristics. Sideswipe was "alright" with the new look. Eventually after the team had captured Polarclaw, Optimus sarcastically asked Sideswipe if he required assistance.
Optimus and Sideswipe have become close teammates and allies.
Enemies[]
Underbite[]
Sideswipe and Underbite exchanged in a short conversation about if Sideswipe heard of Underbite and how he devoured Neuon City before the latter attempted to chase Sideswipe and Russell through the forest. Sideswipe protected Russell from Underbite's attacks.
Steeljaw[]
Out of all the Decepticons he encountered, Sideswipe appears to have a strong dislike towards Steeljaw. After Steeljaw kidnapped Strongarm, Sideswipe and Russell attempted to save Strongarm with Sideswipe pretending to be another Decepticon to talk with Steeljaw while Russell unlocked Strongarm from her chains. Steeljaw soon saw through this and quickly engaged Sideswipe by chasing him until Strongarm knocked Steeljaw into a tree. Sideswipe appeared to be enraged when Steeljaw used Minitron to control Grimlock as he fought Steeljaw and demanded that Steeljaw cease from controlling Grimlock. Steeljaw pointed out that he should be focused on saving his friends from Grimlock's wrath and promised Steeljaw that is was not over. Sideswipe saved Bumblebee from getting crushed by a trash compactor that Steeljaw had placed him in and Steeljaw was close to attacking Sideswipe until Bumblebee was able to get out and throw Steeljaw to the side.
Fracture[]
Sideswipe attempted to fight Fracture but was quickly tazed by him. Sideswipe was used with the other Autobots and Denny as ransom by Fracture until they were eventually freed from their imprisonment on Fracture's ship and backed up Drift. Sideswipe fought Fracture during an Autobot and Steeljaw's gang confrontation. Fracture told Sideswipe he was out of his league, referring to him as kid. Sideswipe informed Fracture that the latter taught Sideswipe a lesson, which Fracture questioned on what it was as he draw his blade at Sideswipe. Sideswipe revealed it was to play dirty as he used a tire to avoid getting attacked by Fracture's built in hand blade and quickly takes Fracture out. Sideswipe backed up Drift to fight Fracture when the Autobots were able to regain control of the scrapyard from Steeljaw's gang. Fracture is one of Sideswipe's enemies, and they appear to have a similar relationship to Optimus Prime and Lockdown's in "Transformers: Age of Extinction".
Thunderhoof[]
Sideswipe attempted to trick Thunderhoof, but Thunderhoof saw through his trick as he tried to get the Autobot to test the space bridge that Thunderhoof's human underlings had built for him. Though Sideswipe was able to dispatch Thunderhoof and the Decepticon was soon knocked into the space bridge by some girders that Bumblebee had released.
In Sideways, Sideswipe attempted to stop Thunderhoof from chasing Clampdown but he was knocked out of the way by Thunderhoof as he fought Fracture instead.
In Lockout, Sideswipe fought and zapped Thunderhoof during the fight for the scrapyard.
In Battlegrounds, Part 2, Sideswipe and Strongarm worked together to take out Thunderhoof.
In Decepticon Island (Part 2), with Strongarm, Grimlock, and Sideswipe having trouble with Thunderhoof and Groundpounder, Sideswipe was able to use a signal to incapacitate Thunderhoof and Groundpounder.

- People who have played War for Cybertron will probably notice a personality change. True, Sideswipe is a bit of a rebel, but he knows Bee from the war. The show describes him as a rebel bad bot, which is typical of a recruit who doesn't take orders, but he would know Bee well enough that he wouldn't make an argument out of it. This will probably confuse fans. However, it is very well possible that Sideswipe was one of the many Autobots who were locked in stasis cells on Cybertron (as seen back in Fall of Cybertron) which would explain well about the rookie act since so much has happened while he had been asleep. However, he was never identified as being sent in stasis and it is stated he is the pilot of the Ark, discrediting the stasis statement and further confusing his backstory.
- Sideswipe is a bit similar to Shane Dyson in Transformers: Age of Extinction.
- He bears several similarities to Knock Out, leading to many fan-based theories that he is related to him in some way.
- Sideswipe's greatest fear is being trapped in traffic whether minor or severe.
- Sideswipe's hair appearance and personality are quite similar to Brad Carbunkle in My Life as a Teenage Robot. They both have red spikey hair and are adventurous.
