Sentinel Prime is the main antagonist of the 2024 animated movie Transformers One which revolves around Optimus Prime and Megatron's relationship before becoming enemies. He is voiced by Jon Hamm.
Sentinel Prime is a mixed bag between the IDW 2019 incarnation, with coloring from the G1 universe. His alternate mode is a Cybertronian Jet rather than a Cybertronian Shuttle, and distinct from the previous film incarnation from Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
History[]
Sentinel was originally an aid to the first thirteen Primes. Sometime during the war with the Quintessons, he told the Primes that they could end the war by killing the Quintesson leaders, who allegedly were having a meeting on Cybertron. When the Primes arrived at the location, they were met with multiple Quintessons who, despite having a glimpse of hope, was soon crushed when Sentinel killed one of the Primes. He would continue to do this to the rest of them, though what he did with Alpha Trion was unknown. Sentinel not only took Megatronus Prime's cog, but also tried to take the Matrix, only for it to disintegrate in his palms.

- Sentinel carries many traits from his live action design, including but not limited to:
- Sentinel's jet wings resemble his ladder-like cape in his live action design when in robot mode.
- Sentinel being a twist villain is similar to his live action design as well, along with making deals with the enemy.
- Sentinel carries a double-bladed sword akin to the one carried by his live action counterpart
- Being a 'false Prime' (Though Sentinel being a actual Prime in the live action films is likely true.)
