The name or term Scrapper refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Scrapper (disambiguation).

Scrapper is a type of the Constructicons. He transforms into a front load shovel and the right arm of Devastator. He may also share a name with another loading scout who saw action at the battle of Egypt. Or yet a third one who saw action in the battle of Chicago.

Fiction

Revenge of the Fallen

At the order's of the Fallen and Megatron, Scrapper and his comrades took part in the battle of Egypt fighting NEST and the Autobots. During the battle, Scrapper acomponied his fellow Constructicon's to a village just next to the pyramid's which was a cover for the Star Harvester. Scrapper merged with his fellow comrades into the gigagntic Decepticon Devastator and attacked the village and former Sector Seven agent Seymour Simmons, Leo Spitz, Skids and Mudflap. He eventually gave up on Megatron's order's and set out to destroy the pyramid, unaware that Simmons was following him. Once the S7 agent was under him, he gave his coordinates to the US navy and had them fire the rail gun on him, killing Devastator and presumably Scrapper too.

Elsewhere the other Scrapper with Long Haul, Ravage, Rampage and several other protoforms under Starscream's command tore apart an Egyptian village to find Sam and Mikaela. He uses his flail to break the bridge they were running on but was unable to kill them. Scapper then took part in firing on NEST soldiers with Long Haul. Eventually Jetfire arrived and killed Mixmaster and Scorponok. He shoot missiles during Scorponok's underground charge at Jetfire but was unsuccessful. When the Air Force carpet bombed the area, Scrapper tried to escape but he was consumed in the explosions and killed. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Dark of the Moon

A third Decepticon with Scrapper's body landed on the moon in 1963 to salvage Sentient Primes space bridge pillar's. Once that was done he and the other Decepticons concealed themselves under the moons surface. 49 years later, Sentinel Prime betrayed the Autobots and opened a space bridge with the 5 Pillar's he had and allowed Scrapper and the other Decepticons to pass through to Earth. Scrapper then took part in the invasion of Chicago. He was stationed just a click away from the command post with Long Haul, Brawl, Sideways type Decepticons and Shockwave bu was killed in Optimus Primes mile long rampage that killed several Decepticons. Games

Revenge of the Fallen: The Game

A Constructicon very much like Scrapper is an enemy in the Autobot campaign, and is one of the toughest drones to defeat. His weapons in this campaign is the claw (explaned in the paragraph above) it shoots a flat yellow lazer kind of like Starscream's special abilities primary gun only his one is red. His secondary weapon is a set of small rockets.

Toys

  • Scrapper (Legends, 2009)
Scrapper, now a Legends class figure, transforms into a front loader. He forms Devastator's right arms. In Japan he is a seperate release from the other Constructicons. In America, he will be packed in a giftset with the others. Interestingly, this Scrapper toy has what appears to be "nipples". This is probably a coincidence.

Notes

  • In Revenge of the Fallen film, it appears that Scrapper's weapons are a type of claw-like gun on his right arm and a claw that can be used as a flail, similar to Megatron.
  • Both Scrapper and Scrapmetal share a body type. However, two designs, significantly different in their detail, have been acknowledged by the fandom as possible concepts for this body type. One features parts made from wheels and is also included on artwork for Devastator, while the other shows what appears to be tracks, concurring with the excavator alt mode. Whether the second design was intended to be Scrapmetal but dropped before the humanoid modes were rendered is unknown.
  • Possibly part of a story error, Scrapper appears in two different area's in ROTF. He is both the arm of Devastator and a separate being at the same time. ALso in DOTM a third Scrapper appears.
