Robert Wallace Forster Jr. (July 13, 1941 - October 11, 2019) was an American actor. After an acclaimed performance in 1969's Medium Cool, Forster spent the next several decades headlining mostly b-movies like Alligator and Delta Force (with the exception of Disney's big-budgeted The Black Hole). He revived his career with a role in 1997's Jackie Brown, for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Forster has more recently appeared in The Descendants, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and played Arthur Petrelli on Heroes. He also played a pivotal role in the penultimate episode of Breaking Bad as the Disappearer, Ed Galbraith and reprised the role in Better Call Saul and prior to that, the Netflix exclusive movie sequel El Camino which eerily enough premiered on the day he passed away.
In animation, he was heard as Major Forsberg in Todd McFarlane's Spawn, the President of the United States in Justice League Unlimited, Lucky Jim in The Simpsons and Jack J. Kurtzman in the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon.
