Rob Gerbracht was one of the first members of the Transformers online fandom to "cross over" into creating official stories. He served as a writer for the BotCon Wreckers comics published by 3H Productions where he somewhat infamously changed Devcon's personality because he evidently forgot how Devcon was portrayed in the character's only previous fictional appearance.

The Beast Wars location Tengu Sector, mentioned in the episode "Code of Hero", was named after his screen name.
