Now, watch my fist very closely . . .

Red Hot of the Rescue Patrol always looks on the bright side of things. Particularly if it's bright because it's on fire, because then he can put his fire-retardant foam to good use, instead of just squirting it in Decepticons' optics.[1]

Red Hot was among the first Micromasters serving under Emirate Xaaron on Cybertron. When his teammate Seawatch was rendered catatonic by an encounter with some Demons, Red Hot assisted Xaaron in overfeeding them as they were about to overwhelm the Classic Pretenders, Triggercons and Firecons. Dawn of Darkness

After a successful raid on a Decepticon fuel depot on Cybertron, Red Hot and the Rescue Patrol attempted to journey to Earth with Bumblebee, Jazz, and Grimlock, but the intervention of the Mayhem Attack Squad resulted in the trans-time dimensional portal malfunctioning. The Autobots were flung into the depths of Cybertron, where they found the resting place of their god, Primus! Yesterday's Heroes! Red Hot and the others listened to the Keeper's tale of Primus and Unicron, and the origins of the Transformer race - until the Keeper was slain by the Decepticons, who had also been transported there by the malfunctioning portal. Red Hot and Stakeout assisted Grimlock in taking down Octopunch, but were unable to prevent him from shooting Primus in the face. As the awakened Primus let loose with a Unicron-summoning "primal scream", the Autobase staff completed repairs on the dimensional portal, sending the Autobots to Earth. Primal Scream

Once the patrol had joined up with Optimus Prime's Autobots on Earth, Red Hot and the others were assigned to take out Whisper, who had been hired as an assassin by the Decepticon High Command. They managed to wound him but were then attacked by the rest of the Air Strike Patrol. Optimus Prime ordered them to withdraw when he discovered the battle was damaging the surrounding environment.
