Here, kitty kitty kitty...

When Soundwave learns of the location of the All Spark shard, he dispatches Ravage to find and retrieve it. Ravage makes it to Diego Garcia and deploys a the Microcons which form into Reedman to get it while he holds off the N.E.S.T. forces. Ravage successfully gets the Allspark shard and meets up with the Constructicons who use it to revive Megatron.

Ravage then meets up with his fellow Constructicons Long Haul, Mixmaster, Scrapmetal and Skipjack at a human freighter travelling out to sea. The group dive to the bottom of the sea, unknowingly attracting the attention of the U.S. Navy, who then dive down to intercept them.

Once at the bottom, Ravage ejects Scalpel, to revive Megatron. Once Scalpel finishes his analysis on Megatron, he then says that he needs more parts for Megatron's resurrection to be successfully complete. He then orders the Constructicons to kill the smallest member of their group. Before he can even protest, Scrapmetal is then set up by Long Haul and Mixmaster, who tear him apart as Scalpel uses his parts to revive Megatron.

Ravage later on appears in the battle in Egypt. He and Rampage have captured both Ron Witwicky and Judy Witwicky, as commanded by Starscream. As Sam and Mikaela hurry to meet up with N.E.S.T and the Autobots who are hoarding the body of the deceased Optimus Prime, Sam's parents spot him and Mikaela and run towards them, unaware of Rampage transforming from his vehicle mode. Ravage went off stalking, leaving Rampage to capture Sam. However, As Rampage traps Sam and the others, he is unaware that Bumblebee was waiting on Sam's signal to attack. As Bumblebee gains the upper hand on Rampage by breaking one of his arms, Ravage performs a sneak attack and jumps on his back to help his fellow Decepticon. As Ravage climbs on Bumblebee's head, clawing at his battle helmet, his flailing about was finally ceased as the Autobot grabs his tail, strips his entire upper body from his spine, and proceeds to pummel Rampage with his other half. Ravage is able to transform from a panther to re-entry mode, — which doesn't seem like a complete transformation. It seems to be a sort of flight mode.

Notes[]

  • Ravage's method of infiltration and retrieval raise several questions about the Transformers' physiology — exactly what constitutes an individual?
  • Since he has a feline shape, does that make his spitting up of the Microcons the equivalent of hair-balls?
  • Ravage seems to be the single most adorable thing in the film for a Bayformer.
  • He seems to be a *a-hem* one-eyed panther from Cybertron. Well, it's better than mass-changing.
    • Yet, it could be possible that ever since the last film the cons have been observing life on earth and began creating drones that resemble Earth creatures.
    • Unless someone visited a planet with organic lifeforms and saw some feline aliens there.
  • Out of his Deluxe toys, only "Sea Attack Ravage" from Hunt for the Decepticons toyline has a red eye.
  • He also has a shape similar to the Nexu from Star Wars which also looks feline. However, the Nexu has four times as many eyes as Ravage.
  • When he and the Constructicons are converging on Megatron's body, he appears to slither through the water, like a crocodile.
    • Which is awkward, considering his normally feline behavior. Cats swim by paddling through the water, making this swimming style inaccurate to his behavior.
    • Although given that the likelihood is that the Cons have observed life on earth and designed Ravage to look like a panther but have the ability to swim like a crocodile.
  • In the opening sequence on Cybertron in Dark of the moon, there are Ravage-look-like creatures fighting, but these ones seemed to be 10 times the size of Ravage, towering over the humanoid Transformers.
