Paul Dini (August 7, 1957- ) is an American writer and producer. Together with Bruce Timm, he is best known for writing and producing several Warner Bros./DC Comics Animated series, such as Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series, The New Batman/Superman Adventures and Batman Beyond.
He's the creator of the DC character, Harley Quinn, which the character was based on a character in a dream sequence in the NBC daytime serial, Days of Our Lives played by a friend of his, Arleen Sorkin (1955-2023) who was also the original voice of the character as well. He also created Minerva Mink in Animaniacs.
He is currently a writer and story editor on the popular television series Lost.
