Prime-toy OptimusPrimeBlaster

The Arms Micron Optimus Prime Blaster (オプティマスプライムブラスター Oputimasu Puraimu Burasutā) has taken the form of the Autobot hero Optimus Prime.

Toys[]

Prime[]

  • Optimus Prime Blaster (Gacha Arms Micron, 2012)
    • ID number: 1
    • Energon Crystal: SP Hard
One of the odder Japanese Prime releases, Optimus Prime Blaster is an Arms Micron figure that transforms from a robot resembling Optimus Prime's robot mode into a twin-barreled handgun, compatible with the Arms Micron weapon system via numerous 5mm posts and holes. He was part of the first wave of Gacha Arms Microns released in early June of 2012, and came in a translucent white capsule.
This assortment was also released as the first wave of Arms Micron Gum on August 20 2012. He came in an individual box with a stick of that weird, vaguely-lemony gum you find in most Japanese candy toys.

Optimus Prime Blaster (Arms Micron, 2012)
    • Energon Crystal: SP Hard
A clear-red-plastic version of Optimus Prime Blaster, with minimal paint operations, was packed in with the September issue of TV Boy Magazine as part of a Prime promotion.
  • Transforming Figure Collection (Bagged toy, 2012)
    • Energon Crystal: SP Hard
The entire first wave of Gacha Arms Microns were made available in the UK as a blindbagged line, released by Tomy and licensed by Hasbro UK, distributed through Esdevium Games. The packaging does not give any names to the Microns inside, and in fact doesn't even call them "Microns" or "Mini-Cons" or anything.

  • Optimus Prime Blaster MX (Gacha Arms Micron, 2013)
    • ID number: 1
    • Energon Crystal: SP Hard
At the very tail-end of Prime, all twelve Gacha molds were re-released all in one go as a "Special Edition" wave through the capsule machines. The Autobots were cast in clear-blue "Matrix Power Up!" forms, retaining their normal paint operations (mostly), though the eyes have changed from blue to red. Optimus Prime Blaster is the only one in the Autobot set to lose paint operations, as the chest-window paint has been dropped to allow the clear-blue plastic underneath to shine through. His red paint is also a lighter shade than the original, leaning a bit more towards maroon.

Go![]

  • Shining Optimus Prime Blaster (Promotional Arms Micron, 2013)
    • Energon Crystal: SP ???
This clear-blue redeco of Optimus Prime blaster was a promotional exclusive in late June 2013. Obtaining it was a smidge complicated, involving buying a McDonald's Happy Meal on one of two days (June 22nd and 23rd) or buying the August 2013 issue of either Terebikun Magazine or Terebi Magazine, all of which contained a ticket to be redeemed at participating stores, where they would give you the Prime Blaster.

Notes[]

  • Optimus Prime Blaster and the other Arms Microns with robot modes resembling larger show-cast characters are considered separate characters by this wiki on the grounds that the only fiction we have on them is the over-arcing backstory of the Arms Microns: non-living weapons were exposed to special Earth energon and turned into living miniature robots. Obviously, being a new form for Optimus doesn't really work with this. So until something official says otherwise...
