Noah Leon Diaz is the Human protagonist of the prequel, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. He is an ex-military electronics expert who lives in Brooklyn, New York and becomes entangled in a three-sided war between the Autobots, Maximals and Terrorcons.

Noah Diaz is a young man who is struggling to make ends meet. He is desperate to find a job to support his family and pay for his younger brother's medical treatment. One day, Noah's friend Reek suggests that they hijack a Porsche 911 to sell for money. Noah is hesitant at first, but he agrees when Reek promises him that it will be an easy job with a big payout.
However, as they attempt to steal the Porsche, Noah discovers that it is not a regular car, but rather an Autobot named Mirage. Noah is shocked and scared as he has never seen anything like it before. Mirage tries to explain to Noah that he is a superhero from another planet before they are interrupted by the police. A high-speed chase ensues as Noah and Mirage race away from the police in the stolen Porsche. Noah is terrified, but Mirage assures him that they can outrun the police.
They take sharp turns and swerve through traffic, barely avoiding collisions with other cars along the way. Eventually, they manage to lose the police and Mirage brings Noah to the Autobots' warehouse. The warehouse is hidden in a secret location away from prying eyes, where the Autobots are hiding and repairing their ships. Here, Noah finally gets to meet Mirage and other Autobots like Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Arcee. Noah is amazed by the Autobots and their extraordinary abilities.
He marvels at how they can transform into cars, trucks, and planes, and how they can communicate in binary code. Mirage explains to Noah that the Autobots are fighting a war against their enemies, the Terrocons, whom they had been in a long-running conflict with. Noah soon finds himself drawn into the war as he starts to develop a friendship with Mirage and other Autobots.
In return for helping them on their missions, the Autobots offer Noah their assistance in finding a job and resources to help his family. Noah is grateful and agrees to help them in their fight. As the story progresses, Noah becomes an important ally to the Autobots in their war against the Decepticons. However, his involvement in their battles will put him in harm's way, as the Terrocons seek to eliminate any human threats that may aid the Autobots. It is up to Noah and the Autobots to work together to prevent the Terrocons from fulfilling their evil plans.
After saving the world from Scrouge and Unicron, Noah decided to apply to the job that hiring manager suggested, where he encountered Agent Burke, who revealed that the job he was offered is a secret government organization, which is off the books, who agreed to handle his brother's medical bills from now on. After being confused about this, Burke approach the wall and moved a plaque, revealing a hidden room and was told to think about the offer.
Afterwards, Noah looked at the back of the card as it was revealed that the secret government organization was none other than G.I. Joe.
