Nightbeat is a detective at Spark. He was the Sherlock Holmes of Cybertron, solving some of the toughest Cases. He only engages in combat when it's absolutely necessary. Nightbeat solves murders, he doesn't commit them.

- Nightbeat is a blue, with yellow flames, redeco of Dead End/Detour. These colours are very similar to his Generation 1 counterpart.

- As a result of being a strait up re-paint of Dead End, a Decepticon, Nightbeat somehow has a vicious face, not really suiting an Autobot.
- This can be solved by folding the bottom jaw down into the chest.
