Michigan is a state in the United States of America, classified as a state. It's capital is Lansing. Notable cities include Detroit and Paw Paw. It's even the main setting of Transformers Animated.

The Autobots flew to Michigan in the 2000's when they went into a spacebridge. After Optimus Prime knock Megatron off of Omega Supreme (who's still offline at the time), Megatron's head crash land near Professor Sumdac's childhood home where the young professor found it. The Autobots all went on stasis when Omega Supreme crash in Lake Erie near Detroit and start sinking. 5 decades later in the 2050's, Detroit becomes futuristic.
