Triumverate Edit

It's not a typo. Oddly enough. Some of the ones you changed should be "triumvirate" but when referring to the Decepticon ruling trio, it's "triumverate."

Hope this helps.--Rosicrucian 05:21, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

is that Fanon? If so,is it not a simple typo being perpetuated and enforced by illiterates? ChoHIlqoq 05:25, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
To quote:
An annoyed note: when updating the webpage, I looked up the spelling of the word, and it's "triumvirate". I assumed that Jhi and I had misspelled the word throughout the entire site, so we corrected it. Only I later noticed that it was written "triumverate" in the text boxes when I was re-scanning the issues... meaning Simon Furman spelled it wrong to begin with (as I could find no alternate British spellings of the word). So we had to change everything BACK. This means they're a triumvirate called The Triumverate. -- Monzo
It's across multiple issues.--Rosicrucian 05:27, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
  • [interrobang]Holy ****! Not only do we have the glaring misspellings and factual errors in the Dorling-Kindersley guide, but now we have to bow to typos in an old comic book too? Crom, that is ****ed up! I never got that impression when I met Simon, hmmmm, this changes everything.[/interrobang]ChoHIlqoq 05:36, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

For the purposes of the wiki, it's probably better to use the actual spelling of Triumvirate for Legonis, Octus and Seizer's little gang and simply note that Furman consistently misspelled it in the issue. --Monzo 07:00, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
