Copy PasteEdit

Actually they're not copy pasted from TFWIKI. This site is the old version of TFWIKI but they obondoned here and went to a new site and they basically transported info from here to the new site. So that Optimus Prime (Movie)'s Transformers (2007) sections wasn't plagariased.--Primestar3 (talk) 18:15, December 3, 2015 (UTC)

Hi, you are correct in that TFWiki used to be here, however the version of Prime's movie section which HowlingSister pasted in is part of an extensive rewrite which Chris McFeely did of the TFWiki article in May this year. It's true that some articles here are legitimately the same as those on TFWiki because they haven't changed much since the split, however copying text that has changed is not cool. --Abatesnz (talk) 19:29, December 3, 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, that's true. Also you're Abates from TFWiki right? I didn't realize it was you, sorry. Also sorry for the late answer, I forgot to check this talk page.--Primestar3 (talk) 19:34, March 7, 2016 (UTC)
That's right. I generally limit my editing here to avoid conflict of interest issues, so it's mainly watching for plagiarism and occasionally cleaning up vandalism. --Abatesnz (talk) 20:01, March 8, 2016 (UTC)
Yeah me too, I too sometimes come here and clean the plagiarism. I mainly edit in TFWiki. Though not much, I'm not that big of a TF expert, I edit on pages of things that I already read/watched but they generally are already pretty much complete.--Primestar3 (talk) 14:27, March 24, 2016 (UTC)

Why Did You Delete The Page That I Created For The Episode: The Buzz Of Windblade.

Can I Create A Page For The Buzz Of Windblade Episode Without Copying From The Other Wiki.

Yes, please feel free to create one - just don't copy the text from TFWiki. --Abatesnz (talk) 20:46, April 1, 2016 (UTC)

How Do You Create The Info Box On An Episode Page? Can The Featured Character Section On The Buzz Of Windblade Episode Page Be With Bullet Points Instead, Because Its Easier For Me. Its The Format That I Used When I Helped To Create Episode Pages On Some Of The Other Wiki's Like Max Steel & Gundam Unicorn RE: 0096.

Well, you should probably do the featured character section so it looks like the other episode pages on this wiki. It's still bullet points, they're just separated in a table. --Abatesnz (talk) 22:22, April 1, 2016 (UTC)

Can You Help Me Fix The Link Between The Episodes The Buzz On Windblade & Ghosts And Imposters & Battlegrounds Part 1 & Part 2.

I've Added The Characters To The Character Section On The Buzz On Windblade Episode Page Including Other Edits.

Sure, I've just done so. --Abatesnz (talk) 19:13, April 2, 2016 (UTC)

Can You Help With Redoing The Featured Character Section On The Main Transformers: Robots In Disguise 2015 Page: Autobots. Decepticons. Humans. Others.

Hey, just add in the lists under c3= and c4= and the columns should appear. --Abatesnz (talk) 00:48, April 4, 2016 (UTC)

Thank You.

Admin OfferEdit

Since I'm not very active on wiki these days, it really lacks admin management. So I'm currently in the process of selecting active admins. Are you interested in becoming one? Lelouch Di Britannia Talk Page  14:38, April 5, 2016 (UTC)

Also, do you have any recommendations for other admin candidates? Lelouch Di Britannia Talk Page  14:42, April 5, 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for the offer, but since I'm already an admin on TFWiki, I think it would be seen as a conflict of interest for me to be one here too. I see you've made FortressMaximus and MovieJunkie2009 admins, and I think they'll do a good job. --Abatesnz (talk) 21:23, April 6, 2016 (UTC)

Conflict with the TFWiki.net Edit

Hi there!

I am from the german Transformers Wikia and in the last months I read through the discussions in the TFWiki.net about moving from Wikia to an own server and to built up a Wiki with the style of MediaWiki, but without connections to Wikia and I want you to ask something about the TfWIki and how it is interacting with other Wikis or Wikias.

Is this "conflict" still a thing? Would the TFWIki.net accept a partnership with the german TF Wiki? I would like to make some sort of headliner for each page like you can see here, where I link the german page with the english TFWiki.net page since the interlanguage links between the de.transformers <->TFWiki.net don't work.

Let me know what you think (or what your community might think) about it.

{{SUBST:User:Cyanide3/Sig}} 12:25, April 7, 2016 (UTC)

Hey Cyanide3. The dispute which led to the separation was strictly between the TFWiki and Wikia, so we have partnered with wikis hosted on Wikia before - Wookieepedia for instance. I'll pass this on to the TFWiki community. --Abatesnz (talk) 20:25, April 7, 2016 (UTC)
That would be great! Maybe some facts about the german TF Wiki which might be useful.
  • I know some of you were a bit pissed off (or at least I could read between the lines in the conversations/discussions) about the staffs and how the connection between the staffs and the community is working. Now as a member editing on the english and german communities I think staffs have the same job, but they are dealing different with their users. So basically the german communites are beeing pushed by the staffs and they help us a lot in design a Wikia and they warn us when it comes to a big change in the Wiki-codes (like new skins). The opinion from a community counts for them.
  • I will try to raise the Wikia up. We are one-three users so it takes time, but I am trying to work hard on the Wikia. Transformers is a huge thing in the US and english-speaking countries, but I think that in Germany the younger generation know nothing exept the Michael Bay movies. The SEO for the Transformers Wikia is good so I am trying to do my best in raising up the wiki for newbies having a better entry to the whole fandom. In Autum 2015 we changed the design for the main page and the whole pages.
  • What I don't do (because it isn't just my style of "how to write") is the fun explanations on the pictures, but I am trying to not make the texts hard to read so everybody can follow what is written in the article. We don't have strict rules, just some basics so we can work together in harmony.

If you or some administrators or users have any questions about the wiki and the progress on the Wiki feel free to ask! Cyanide3 22:53, April 7, 2016 (UTC)
