Er- out of curiosity... do you really think the community was done using that? I mean-- it's a notice sent out to the community. That's been up for, like, 3 hours. ...while most of the community was asleep. -Derik 12:02, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
The edit war
I feel that the current site notice is misleading. The current version is not, as Sannse stated, a "compromise", but rather one that completely downplays that the community has left. The version that Suki Brits replaced it with tells what happened without blasting wikia or downplaying the move. --FortMax 14:01, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- We don't yet know how much of the community is going to leave. Clearly from comments most are going, but this wiki is staying here, and anyone that wishes to stay is welcome to. The sitenotice needs to reflect that. And obviously those that have chosen to leave this wiki can no longer decide on what happens here, that's for the remaining community and Wikia to work out together. However, we are leaving a notice up for a few days as a courtesy, so how about:

a new start?
Now what have you done? first you made it sound like random people were leaving now you dont even mention the new wiki! Its fine having that up but you still need a link to tfwiki.net in there somewhere! I think that it should say something more like "the main/most of the editors of this wiki have set up a new wiki at tfwiki.net, you can leave with them or stay here, if you wish to stay here you could help decide the new look for this Wiki. Join the discussion or check out the test wiki." 184.108.40.206 14:50, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- Out of date now, isn't it? --◄mendel► 12:18, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
