The Mayhem Attack Squad was one of Thunderwings inceptions, which consisted of Bludgeon (G1)Bludgeon, Octopunch, and Stranglehold.
The Squad is a group of Pretenders, and they were assigned with the responsibility of attacking the Autobot Pretenders Bumblebee, Jazz, and Grimlock, as well as three Micromasters, only one of which was named (Seawatch).
The last that is seen of the squad is at the end of the Marvel Comics, when Bludgeon took over leadership. The Decepticons attack a small, remote planet called Kylo and begin to take over. Optimus Prime is reborn thanks to The Last Autobot, and with the combined efforts of the Autobots and the Neo Knights, the Decepticons are pushed off of Kylo.
