
Maurice LaMarche (born March 30, 1958) is an Emmy Award-winning Canadian American voice actor and former comedian. Some of his most notable roles include The Brain in Pinky and the Brain (opposite Rob Paulsen), Morbo, King Lrr, Kif Kroker and Calculon in Futurama, Odval in Disenchantment, Serpentor, Spirit and many others in the DiC seasons of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Chancellor Neighsay in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Big Bob Pataki in Hey Arnold!, Doctor Doom in various Marvel Comics media, Mr. Freeze and Calendar Man in the Batman: Arkham series, Toucan Sam in the Kellogg's Froot Loops commercials, Dr. Egon Spengler in The Real Ghostbusters and Extreme Ghostbusters, Sleet in Sonic Underground, and Yosemite Sam in numerous Looney Tunes projects. He was also Don Adams' successor as the voice of Inspector Gadget when Adams officially retired in 1999. In addition, he was the first on-camera Inspector Gadget, playing the character in two live-action segments of The Super Mario Super Show!.
